Also......So was our best linebacker(ejected for pushing off a player while getting up), we dropped a TD pass in the end zone, and we lost a punt return on their 5 yard line. Score was 21-20 at haltime and we fell apart. Not taking anything away from them, they played great, we just could have kept it from being so lopsided.

I know this is Villemez's Senior year and it's homecoming week but letting him heal for two weeks before district is the ideal way to go. Nothing against Trinity but I hope Hardin is pissed off enough about last Friday that they make this ugly and they definately have the team to do it. Hardin should dominate.

I agree, the Anahuac vs Hardin game is supposed to be the game of the year, but to be honest I think EC and Buna will be equally competitive for Hardin and Anahuac. But, I wouldn't count out somebody else pulling off the upset, this is a very competitive district with lots of rivalries.

Oh I'm not saying we would have won, just wouldn't have been so ugly....LOL

Plus, I hate excuses, but I got some and it's killing me not to throw them out there.... What is the score if: 1. Villemez plays the second half? 2. We catch a deep pass that hits our kid in the bread basket all alone in the end zone? 3. We get the kickoff return for a touchdown by Villemez that the ref's said he stepped out of bounds which he wasn't even close? 4. We don't touch the ball on the punt return that gave them the ball on like the 5? 5. We actually tackle their #9...lol We made a ton of mistakes that if it happens again we will lose again.

On last Friday night, with the game plan Shepherd used, they would have beat anybody in our district. They played the perfect game against us, they might not do it to anybody else the rest of the season, but Friday they were on. Did BYU have a chance against Oklahoma, Houston against Oklahoma State, Hardin against EC and Buna last year? It was their night, they came to play, we didn't. It happens to everyone. We got our butts handed to us, but don't judge our whole season on that one game.

Well if HD's healthy then maybe Kountze only wins by 3 touchdowns.

Who has Anahuac played? NOBODY! Some church schools? Nice non-district scheduling, really makes you look good. I'm not saying Anahuac isn't good, but don't talk about playing average schools until you beat somebody!

Might get to see what EC's made of in this one, should be a test for them.

HD injuries will hurt them. Kountze will have the numbers and the size, but you never know though, after seeing Shepherd come in 0-2 and beat the crap out of Hardin with a well designed game plan, anything can happen.

I agree 100%! I think our district is wide open right now. Between Hardin, EC, Anahuac, and Buna, I don't see any team dominating any of the others. Should be an interesting race to the playoffs.

No bad mood here, we knew Shepherd was gonna be tough, with the game they played last night they would have beat anybody in our district. It's just members of the golf and tennis team in high school trying to comment about football that bug me. Plus, until EC beats anybody worth a crap, you ain't got much to talk about.

If you want to see a spread offense, watch this game film. There were times Shepherd only had 3 linemen in front of the quarterback! You try and key on the RB, the QB will run all over you. Very impressive game plan! Don't make any mistakes against this team, they are gonna score.

Shepherd very impressive tonight. They may not beat Cleveland, but they will compete for a playoff spot. The RB #9 is extremely fast and runs tough. Big physical offensive line and correct me if I'm wrong it looked like very few people went both ways, which was a key for them too. Before all the crap talking starts, it was the Hardin fans on here that said throughout this thread that Shepherd was gonna be tough, and they definately were!

Go up 3 post above you....again, do I need to talk slower? I can use crayons if I need to, maybe write in caps so the letters are bigger! Liberty, by no means, beat Hardin in the scrimmage. You were scared and left, everybody knows this and you can't cover it up, so just get over it and try to win two games this year.

Three years ago we only lost by 14. We didnt play them last year.... Havnt played them this year.. Uh.......memory refreshed!

I know the last few years for Liberty has been ugly and I know the kids are tired of getting beat every game, tired of losing to smaller 2A schools, so I hope for their sake they find a way to win this year.

Cause he just got thru watching his team get embarrased and wanted to stop the bleeding! This made me laugh. For starters this scrimmage would have been the first of the season. Thus, preventing the Panthers from yet being embarrased by anyone. And secondly, Liberty would probably take a live quarter from Hardin. If Hardin could barely score on us in a scrimmage, where they had plenty of plays to do so, I doubt they could do it with just four downs. Nice try though BUSTpilot There's no doubt, Hardin was still on the field waiting to start the live quarters and Liberty left, plain and simple. You were scared!!!

Again, Shepherd won't be a slouch, they have a good running back and some big receivers. I think it will be close, either team only winning by at most a touchdown.

I think A&M is recruiting him a little harder, that might what you heard.
