1.

Hardin will be improved for sure. There are some athletes on the Hornet team. I predict Hardin will beat WH, Tarkington and Liberty. Hardin just has a tough schedule.
You're an Idiot Hardin won't beat Tarkington or Liberty. Nothing about their schedule is difficult aside from a few district teams get out of your sinkhole.
I'm not sure how well Hardin will or will not do, but they do have a tough schedule in district. Seems like I read or was told, and I may be wrong, that their district was ranked the 2nd toughest 2A district in the state. Anyone know of any validity to that?
2. Great game, who is El Campo's QB, very impressive kid. Runs thru a lot of tackles and fast. Is he committed to anybody? Talked with a friend of mine who coaches at Carthage before the game, they're young, the entire offense is coming back and most if the defense. Look for them to be back next year. Good luck to EC next week.
3. I believe Fortune will be successful, I say that because I never saw one kid quit during the game against Newton. They were fighting till the end. I can't even imagine how hard it is to motivate a whole group of kids knowing a machine like Newton was coming to town, knowing what they've done to everybody all year. Give the guy a chance, he understands that he has to rebuild this program and it starts in the junior high. The, "I get paid to win on Friday nights" attitude is gone. Maybe a little support for him instead of hiding on a message board and bad mouthing him will help too.
4. Looks like a lot of clean uniforms on the field for kirbyville, glad we can get your subs some practice.
5. 21-7 Wildcats. Hardin has shown a little life but Kirbyville is considerably bigger and faster.
6. So far Hardin has been picked to lose by 50+ every game, but nobody has managed to blow them out yet. You take away a ton of unforced turnovers and add just a few scores when they had the ball in the red zone and we'd be talking about the big surprise team of the district. I think kirbyville is too much for them, but I think they'll compete. A team with nothing to lose and no respect can be dangerous.

8. 28-14 final. Difference in this game was anahuac's defense on their own end, 3 trips inside the 10 yard line and Hardin doesn't score.
9. #23 for Anahuac is a beast, good looking back right there
10. Hardin competing, 2 drives down inside Anahuac's 15 but couldn't get in the end zone. Doesn't take Anahuac long to score when they get the ball. Hardin probably has the time of posession lead but gotta make that count for something or its meaningless
11. 28-14, Hardin improving on defense. Kountze has a lot of different looks, I think about the whole sideline played QB at some point.
