Talking with some of the varsity kids tonight it's apparent they're not taking anything for granted. They said they've watched a ton of film and Warren has some good athletes. Should be a good game, good luck to both squads!

No doubt! It was after 10:00 before we ever started the 4th quarter!

He played but the ankle is still hurting him. He had a good game, but you can tell he's not close to 100%.

Hardin defense looked good. Congrats Hornets! Hopefully this will help with the morale issues! Prayers for the Kountze kid being life flighted, word is he had a seizure and suffered a head injury.

There was poor sportsmanship on both sides. I was standing by the Hardin tunnel when the fight happened about 50 feet from them. What I saw was an EC kid knock #13 down well after the play was over, the Hardin kid got up and pushed the EC kid then other EC kids joined in and the punches started flying. I then went up to the press box and we watched the video. Before you post any negetive towards this, watch the video. Regardless, congrats to EC, good game plan and a heck of a QB. The defense played a heck of a game too. They're not very big, but make up for it in aggresiveness and great team tackling.

Hardin's offense has disappeared and the defense really struggles after the first half. EC wasn't fancy, they ran the ball right up the gut all game. The last to teams they faced were fired up and ready to play while Hardin looked extremely relaxed. With that said, something has to change before we can make the playoffs.

Great story, gave me chill bumps!

I'm here, just got bored with all you haters. There's nothing worse than people who hate on other schools who's own school hasn't done crap. Anahuac, they can hate on whoever they want to right now, EC looking good, Buna still in there, Liberty.......uh no.

Nothing against EC, they have a great program, but what I saw in Anahuac the other night was very impressive. I don't see anyone in our district having even a remote chance of beating them. This has nothing to do with what you think of Hardin, this is based purely on the size and speed of their line on both sides of the ball and their piles of athleticism.

A 55-0 beat down and total domination can do one of two things to you, piss you off and you bounce back with a vengence, or totally devestate you and cause you to lose all hope. Hopefully Hardin is real mad at themselves and take it out on EC. I know EC will be ready, let's hope Hardin is too!

This one could go either way. Villemez should play, so that will expand our offense beyond the passing game. There will be motivation on both sides for sure, so good luck to EC and Hardin.

Show me a post where I ever said Hardin would win! I said, and I quote, "If we play a perfect game and don't make mistakes then maybe we can keep it close". Do I need to talk slower for you, maybe write in crayons? I also have been very congratulatory torwards Anahuac. Only negative comments I used were in response to negative comments about Hardins weak schedule.

I don't necessarily agree with this, every time he touched the ball he went about ten yards. The kid in his spot on defense was burnt for a few touchdowns, when he went in Anahuac ran away from him (which is just good coaching), so maybe not a blow out like it was. No one kid makes a team, but without him in there Hardins offense becomes very one dimensional, and if the passing game is off, we are in a world of trouble.

I had heard all week that he wasn't gonna play but never said anything cause I didn't think Anahuac needed any more motivation, still not sure why though. He played very little but did have a good game, but it wouldn't have mattered tonight anyway, Anahuac killed us all over the field.

Wow! Anahuac looked great! Huge offensive line, tons of speed! Hardin drove the ball down field actually pretty good, but turnovers killed us, I think it was 5 in the first half alone. I believe Villemez ended with close to 100 yards of offense, but didn't hardly play. I do think Anahuac could have scored 100 if they wanted to, hell there field goal kicker was at tailback in the 4th quarter! Good luck to Anahuac in the playoffs, may give some of their old foes a run for their money this year! One other note, this was a very clean game, good sportsmanship tonight.

Hardin has a weak schedule? Lets look at Anahuac's record, I just went to their opponents school websites, not a lot for Anahauc to brag about there. KinKaid, who beat Anahuac, 3-2, Danbury 0-5, Concordia Lutheran 0-5, Hitchcock 0-5, Deweyville 1-4. So how can you talk about anybodys weak schedule? In all honesty, EC is the only one who can say they played a tough pre-district schedule, maybe they are who we all should be worried about. But again, how much does any game or any schedule affect you? Hardin will be ready, if we play the way we are capable of, we will keep it close.
