Let's be honest........has there ever been a 3a team in the WORLD capable of doing what this newton team can do? Moreover, has there ever been a 3a team in the WORLD that produced this many high caliber d1 athletes? Furthermore, has there ever been a 3a team in the WORLD with a QB, RB and WR all committed to the same University? No? Well, alright.

Yes, I understand the Dangerfield example. However, I believe these kids at Newton would run circles around anything 1983 had to offer. The human race has evolved quite extensively over the last 35 years. 
 
I guess I am funny then. WO-S will take it on the chin Friday.

Hardin should be able to put as many points on the board as they want to move the jv kids up for Friday

None of this discussion makes ANY sense to me.  THE LARGER SCHOOL got smoked. Newton is the SMALL school. If you’re the BIGGER school and get SMASHED...get BETTER.  If you’re the SMALLER school and have the opportunity to RUN IT UP....do it.  NEWTON - the SMALLER SCHOOL is not supposed to win vs the larger school, but wait...it’s NEWTON and they have 5-10 D1 players so now they are the BULLY?  Some of you  are what’s making this country pissy. No excuses...GET BETTER OR GO play another Sport.

Newton is the only small school in the state that “can” do that and has done that for 35-40 years.  You are the exception to the rule. And no, they are NOT on the right track. My sister is a teacher there and it’s turmoil still today with how most feel about admin & coaching staff.

I was at the game Legacy has some great/big athletic kids if Haynes had #9 and #4 Hardin would battle for the 2nd hole. There is always a hater in the  room though !!! Hardin goes 6-4 and going to fight for the 4th hole for the playoffs...

qB position is only position at question. the skills kids are good and enough to win some ball games.  much of this season will depend on the play of chavira & or Potetz, imo.

I was in no way trying to come off as trash talking just stating that when teams look at upcoming season schedules they usually look at teams similar to themselves and think they have a solid shot at a win. Hopefully all teams can get through the year competitive and healthy..Good luck to Hardin... 

Differing opinions are always welcome and appreciated.  There is definitely a chance Hardin could beat Warren, KV, and Ana.  I just personally believe that the district schedule is making that less and less likely by putting 2 of those games in the middle of the probable district powers.  I wish them the best..just wouldn't personally bet on it.  Maybe they'll surprise some people.  Like you said previously..time will tell.

If you just looked at the scrimmage from both squads 1st team groups, the final was Hardin 4 and Livingston 1 touchdown.

From what I read on Facebook about an hour ago, WOSGrad has been discharged from the hospital.  Everything seems to be going great!

hardin has a sophomore center who started last season as a freshman. i'm just now learning all the players and details, but from what i have heard this kid is at a ton of college camps and is being invited several places as well. not sure how to spell his last name, but i believe its Paul Thonsgard
