I was thinking 49-6. Hj misses the extra point late in the game. 

Smith can help do something in Hardin America. He will have them in playoffs within 3 years. Give him time to implement his system and get his guys in. 

Any news on how HJ is looking? Bass getting any new guys to come out?

Yes. Historically terrible. As it seems, they appear to be doing the opposite of what would be best for the program by splitting position. Seems like it would deter some applicants from applying. Not many would want to take the losing for less pay.

All jokes aside, what sense would it make to separate the positions?
 

They had a young up and coming coach in Zach Bass. I think the first question to ask is what would cause him to want to leave in the first place. And what Can Tarkington do to keep a coach like that? If they can’t figure out what’s within their control the doors will continue to revolve.

And the former coach beat the tar out of his current team the year prior. West Hardin is one they need to take. Next two closest are deweyville and kountze. Both of them going to be tough. 

Prediction for his first year? High island, burkeville, and Sabine pass are on the schedule. Can he beat warren, deweyville, and HD?

And 6 district championships and 1 state title doesn’t qualify someone as “been there and done it”? Sheesh, your qualification list for an AD must be tough. It takes a whole coaching staff to lead a team, not just a head coach. 

Calallen has never won a state championship in football.
