I have no idea what happened to us in the 4th Qtr. It was almost like the waking up early and the 4 hour drive zapped them in the 4th.

This one we had a hangover in the 1st Qtr from previous game 4th period, got a boost of energy in the second and third but we would get it to 4 points and never get it closer. The first Qtr hurt.
We are not sure who we play today at 3:30 yet, it’s win or go home now. We finally got the news back last night about the injury that happened against you guys and it is a torn ACL and obviously she is out for the season which is a huge blow to us. The girls are going to have to step up in her absence!

not sure of the scores but Jasper won both games yesterday.  Beat OF JV by 30 or so,  and beat FTCA

intelligent is a stretch.....   Haven't seen Hudson yet this year and might play coldspring in Woodville tournament.    I will make it to Livingston Saturday.   Nice to be off for a Saturday!

At least you are having an intelligent conversation, coach . Wouldn't mind watching some games at a couple of these different tournaments,  unfortunately work is in my way once again. To bad I am not independently wealthy like OneChance.........

On paper yes they should. This game looks to have been played AT Tarkington. A lot of times, the energy generated at a HOME gym has a positive effect on the home team, while impeding the visiting team. It also seems to affect less experienced refereeing crews are routinely biased by this influence depending on which side of the ball you're on (lol). Familiarity of opponent can be a factor as well. 
Would really need to see the box scores to know did normal players play normal minutes, was there foul trouble, did someone have to sit out, etc.? If I remember correctly.
I see Tarkington lost to VYPE current Top Ten team Hamshire Fannett 47-42 at H-F, VYPE current Top Ten school Bridge City 38-32 and 48-42, so what that means empirically to me is they play hard and must have competed in these games. So even though Woodville is a really good team with superior talent, every game against an unranked opponent isn't going to be a 100-29 cakewalk. To me a 13 point win on the road is a strong enough statement by itself.

63-40 over Silsbee shows some strength.   I am not familiar with the other teams they have played.   Kinda thought Clements and Harker Heights might have been pretty good.  I felt United should of been ranked pre-season top 25 - but I still feel TABC snubs SETX.   It's hard to beat a team that warrants getting into the top 25 when they are all out in West Texas or the Metro Plex.  
But as we all know - polls don't = championships either.... I just want to see SETX teams get more coverage and more respect.
I am going to try and come see some of the games in Livingston this Saturday.

We are all doing a better job of discussing these girls on the message board this season! Great job to everybody being involved!

Too much turnover in coaching girls basketball -  we need coaches that will stay and invest in programs - and communities and AD's that will support that.     Fortunately -  I feel we have that here in Jasper and I am looking forward to our future!

Looking over some of the schedules on this website and teams that don't have games on the 4th, looks like you have a lot of possible options but you may have to call them.
