LCM's biggest problem was a lack of weapons. I mean they have Morris and we shut him down and that number 1 receiver kid made a couple of good plays but the coach had answers for both of them. The QB had a decent arm but was pretty much average maybe a little above.

Ward, Powell and several skill players are juniors so we have them for another year.

So I figure what we'll have is a game delay of 2 plus hours followed by a decision to move the game to Saturday at 2 pm or so. Which will cost LCM twice in transportation and will make the officiating crew cost more also.

If I got this figured right, LCM would have to beat us by 34 points in order to earn first seed. They lost by 7 to Vidor and we beat Vidr by 26, that's as it stands right now.

Bridge City might ought to go ahead and let any basketball starters start practicing. Use back ups if they are football starters.
