Excellent game by both teams. The keeper from HJ played an outstanding game, I was really surprised when we actually managed to get a couple of balls past her, in my opinion she was better than some of the boys I've seen.

It's a well known fact that the only ones who know what's going on out on the field or court or whatever arena the games are on are those sitting in the stands. Geez....

Sorry skip, talent helps but it's not the one or two players that make the team it's the coaching. WOS is gonna have to really dig down deep, the one good thing is with their program, Hooks will probably have no problem filling the new vacancies with other quality coaches.

Never count these Raiders out though as Lumberton evened it up right before the break, then capped the game off in the final minutes of the second period, wtg guys. Kudos to the Vidor boys team too as they are a very good team, as for the Gumbo, it was good too....LOL

Way to go Jags, let's keep the trophy in this region of Texas from now on. I personally think the states' best football is played right here in Southeast Texas.

The guy may be talented, even at coaching, but Lumberton's experience with former NFL players in their first coaching jobs has been nothing but lackluster. He should apply for an assitant coaching job for the time being and build his skills and rep as a coach up.

With four teams going to the playoffs nowadays, it would really be a travesty to have any districts under 8 teams anymore.

All I know is that it doesn't matter that Silsbee has Chuck Norris on their team, L-Town has Chuck Norris's mother playing and she'll keep him in line. ;D

Man if it was the beast, I'd offer him and his folks free rooms to live in.
