  1. I would surely show up, but I don't know how much time I would have to meet anyone........you know, tick tock tick tock. ;D
  2. I personally think it's par for the course for Beaumont officials to build their new football complex "AWAY" from all the schools instead of trying to find a more central location. It's about like the way the County Commissioners rammed Ford Park down the counties throat with no clear plan of how to pay for it, and yet they continue to give money to the failed management company which can't keep tenants and let's go of ones that could make the facility to pay off with a little support.
  3. I understand what you are saying. But, this is something bigger than that. It"s just right for people to see what Central's done and what Friendswood has done. Ok now that's behind us now, Done with finished. Playoffs, new ball game. Now it's time to play playoff ball. Frienswood will be ready and my Jags will be ready. If you ask me 1 million times who's gonna win I'll say my Jags. I'll believe my Jags. So, convincing me and all the other Jag fans will have to take place on the field tommorrow night. The name calling and insults were straight up, foolish. It depicts that person's classless persona. Now, tommorrow two teams will strap up. One will come out victorious. Let's see the result then see who preparing for LT or Killeen next week. See yall tommorrow night buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BCJAG SIGNING OUT TIL SUNDAY MORNING GO JAGS Shoot, even if it don't rain, the weather is supposed to be what, about 30 degrees? That will give new meaning to handling the rock, that leather is gonna get cold a stiff, hard to throw and catch. I wonder if the ball boys know how to keep the ball warm?
  4. Whoa now, don't overdo it. Congrats to Kirbyville on a fine season. 1 more game to go. LOL, don't worry rollin, i'm sure he's talking about the southeast texas area on this side of the Trinity.
  5. Friendswood won't get such a "friendly" reception from the Jags plus they are already looking forward to Lake Travis but guess what? I say the Jags sneak another one from this district and take FW down by 3. Friendswood is talented but they won't realize until the second quarter that these Jags are really good, GO JAGS REPRESENT 20-4A WITH PRIDE AND DETERMINATION!!!!!!
  6. Actually this was his 3rd season and they are 23-10 under AC. Still pretty good considering where they were the 40 years before! I'm sorry I got confused. I was posting about Danny Malone's success at PNG. We were talking about his last year when they lost in the playoffs to...you guest it...LA Marque!!! Alvin's new school. I'm just curious, why are you so giddy and excited when you talk about Alvin leaving Lumberton and going to LaMarque? Is it because you are from LaMarque or a fan of the Cougars or because you don't want to see Lumberton succeed and really don't like Lumberton or what? What is it, just curious? You just seem to get so pumped up and excited when you talk about this topic. You seem to really want to be noticed for allegedly having this BREAKING NEWS from your INSIDE SOURCES like your Dan Rather or something. You seem to really want attention for being a know it all. Oh, by the way...STAY TUNED! Yea, I am sure it is just because EX-Ceauxch wants to see the mighty Lumberton not succeed. ??? Get real Mav. You have only had two winning seasons in the last 40 years. This statement is not exactly true, L-Town has had several winning season, they've just never resulted in getting into the post season.
  7. Dayton soaks up water on field with a Terry wipe. Jags seen at cat fight still waiting for dust to settle to see socreboard. K'ville 'Cats go fishing, come up with nothing but dead ©Arp. 'Stangs charged with loitering after Gilmer runs away. Newton deposits their Franklins in the bank, roll up big interest numbers.
  8. The question would have to be, would a different coach be willing to buy into the system that has been started in L-Town? I so, then another coach with a little talent could win, if not, then Lumberton would be in the same boat we were in, one system being taught at one level and then another being thrown at the guys who reach varsity. Lose, lose and more lose.
  9. Hey I got a name to throw in the hat for you guys, and he's a good coach too and from Lumberton. Terry Poole, he started in Lumberton as defensive coach, worked up to DC. After that he left (when they hired Fuller), went to Hardin and took them into the post season his first year as HC and now I believe he is in Nederland as DC.
  10. ouch :-[ Wow, that looked almost like the player looked at him then just ran over him.
  11. Geez, guys, it took all of 5 posts before one of you brought up Creduers' name. I love my Raiders but not everyone is going to come looking for our coach, not after just 2 successful seasons. Plus, since he is from here it could be that he may actually WANT to be here. The PNG school board meeting will be about MB's future and nothing more. They would not start tossing out names until a decision is made and not before, and those names would likely come from a list of applicants only.
  12. I think there is a real chance for at least a couple of teams to go deep in the near future. Nederland if they can make up for the loss of their seniors should do pretty well next year. Central if they can keep it together ALWAYS has the talent to make a deep run. Lumberton will probably go at least 4 deep next year and again in a couple of years. PNG, if tradition holds, will pick back up in a few years and Vidor I suspect will finally push in next year. LCM, who knows. Livingston I gotta give credit, they seemed to come together after they came through L-Town, unfortunately they got caught in the stamped that is the Broncos. Finally, Ozen, yeah right they may have a decent team some day, but now that they can't draw the top athletes from the Beaumont pot like they were able to their first couple of years, it's going to take a surprise blue chip athlete like they had when they had Perkins in B-ball before they will be the cream of the crop. This district will have a lot to offer in the next few years, AJ and Cody at Dayton will be graduating and I think our district may sweep again within 2 years.
  13. Hey rollin, you asked where I was over there in the L-Town Crosby thread, I'm still around, just still speechless that we lost, funny thing is, I had a deja vu feeling about the Vidor game..........go figure. By te way, congratulations Dayton, get through with region 3 and show those other regions we aren't week in this part of the state, next year we'll have that rematch for sure.
  14. I said it once before and I'll say it again, after the situation is investigated thoroughly and the league itself metes out their punishment, I feel this being on LISD property shoul be dealt with too. They should bar these individuals from any UIL event in opinion, this person or persons should not be allowed to come to events around here.
  15. I rarely go to these games but in my opinion a few things should happen or be happening. 1. No one other than the coaches should be anywhere around the field while the game is going on. 2. After the truth is hashed out, the person responsible for starting this should not only be barred from participating in the league, to include as a spectator, but since this happened on school property, the school district should bar them from attending UIL events at their facility. These idiots should realize that if someone were to get hurt, the school could be held liable. Of course, this was probably the same type guy whose last words will be, "hold my beer and watch me jump this". BE YOU FROM LUMBERTON OR BRIDGE CITY OR B.F EGYPT, YOU ARE STUPID TO FIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR KID, ESPECIALLY OVER A GAME!
  16. I see what you mean now, I'm getting nothing but commercials, didn't realize the game was back on, I wonder if they do.
