I wonder, does WOS provide rides to and from school to it's athletes during two-a-days that usually start before the school year? I have a suggestion to take care of the whole situation, make all students NOT involved in extra-curricular activities stay until those who are get finished then send them all home together. The school could provide them with a massive tutor/homework program and maybe then the grades in the school would become top notch, how about that?

Still can't make it, not that far off. As far as Crosby, every good team gets caught with it's pants down once in awhile you know............ Watch out for next year, L-Town won't be so willing to share the district title again.first it was three then two.........next it's one! Broncs just need to take care of business this week and then next year work around the loss of TWO great players, hope ya'll got some good ones coming up 'cause L-town sure does. 4 running backs in the same grade hit High School next year and all four are said to be capable of starting on any team in the area. BTW when's the meet and greet, any decisions?

I'm not talking about the 4 seasons of the year except that you really have to wonder. Autumn/Fall - Still muggy and hot as he ll around here and most everywhere. Yet, for the boys we put them in knickers and a shirt, the pants being filled up with Foam rubber cushion and the shit with rubber and plastic shoulder guards, then put a foam filled helmet on the and make them run around for 3 hours on average every day. I mean you know those uniforms are probably 120 degrees inside. The girls we treat all right I guess, I mean put them in shorts and tanks tops and make them slide and dive all over the gym floor trying to dig out volleyballs. Winter comes - It starts getting cold, sometimes real cold and what do we ask the boys and girls to do? Put on their shorts and tank tops and play B-Ball in the gym, that's okay, but we also ask another group of boys AND girls to don shorts and short sleeve shirts and go out and run around on the football field kicking that funny looking volleyball (lol) around. Man they gotta be freezing their tails off. Finally Spring and the start of Summer comes - It starts to warm up, even kind of nice. The boys put on knickers again, this time without pads and some prefer the long sleeve shirt and they go out on the field to play the national past time, the girls do the same thing with the larger softball, plus we have track and field where the athletes also are wearing shorts. What I never understood is why schools don't play Soccer and basketball in the first part of the year when it's warm and then when the weather gets cold play football and volleyball. In fact maybe the season could be set so that the playoffs would start after all the bowl games. Just my humble opinion.

Well yes they have a pitiful visitor side. But WOS is spoiled to one of if not the best stadiums in the area for all classifications. Arguably the best 3A stadium as far as size in the state. How many of the WOS fans actually have kids still in the school. Most of the fans that go to those games don't have a dog in the hunt. Not saying that is a bad thing. But how has a school gone from a 5A squad to a 3A squad. You can't expect other 3A programs with far less enrollment and a smaller tax base to improve there structures. It is not their fault that WOS as dropped in enrollment. As far as LCM, lets start beating the WOS teams first and make it even more uncomfortable for their fans on the visitor side before we think about making changes to the facilities. WOS has plenty of room in the stands and is a nice stadium, but it's a far cry from being "the best stadium in the area for all classifications". Again...this is a ridiculous thread. It may be a small visitors side, but don't look for any changes there for a long time. I would probably attach a timeline for that to happen somewhere right after the new high school AND junior high are completed. : Yeah, I was beginning to wonder if WOS has gotten a new stadium since they went down to 3-a or a remodel at least. The last time I remember being there for a Lumberton game, I was thinking the stadium wasn't much better than Silsbee's OLD stadium.

I just wondered if the Broncs went out and practiced in the white stuff this morning (12/11/08) in order to make sure they don't accidentally do this if it starts snowing when ya'll play.

They've given up a few I believe but I think most were very early in the year when we were still shuffling guys around. They have done a great job and are much better than last year IMO and last year wasn't too bad. Great Job to: Ray Samuels Chance McCormick Anthony St. Julian Caleb Lang Aaron Ripkowski & other reserves that have contributed. Look out for #72 Wallace Grant to possibly stay at center after filling in for Lang after he got hurt against brenham. Wallace is a big boy and did a nice job. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! Aaron Ripkowski, man if that's not a linemans name, I don't know what is.......

LOL, if you buy a soda, that will effectively quadruple the GDP up there in K-Ville. As far as beating L-Town, it would be closer than 28-6, BUT, if the Raiders didn't pay attention the 'cats might sneak past them. They actually have probably more full time two way players than Lumberton, although not by much. L-Town is planning on sneaking over there to the Houston Area next year and suprising someone in Purple . I would be happy to show up in a purple shirt or even a red shirt right in the middle of the sea of purple and cheer your boys on with you if I could get the time to get over there. That's the bad thing about the deep part of the play offs, they keep moving further and further away.

The only flaw with this is that you would need at least one referee for each side of the field so that would mean 2 extra referees, or to really get it right, 4 with one being on each side and one being at each end zone.

First of all, that would mean ALL the schools would have to invest in the same kind of equipment a Jumbotron uses and I'd be willing to bet that stuff is half the cost. Secondly, the best part of this level of game are the mistakes.

Like the playoffs, you should pick a neutral site........say Al-T's in Winnie? Any other suggestions?
