No way LCM holds PNG to 10 points , you got me laughing on that one! But then again I do remeber a 44 pt beatdown on a visit to lcm one year. Boy that was a letdown lol! But don't see that happening again.not this year anyway!

Well let me enlighten you my friend, everyone hyping nederlands dfense, well thay ain't all that in my opinion. You may have won on the scoreboard which is the most important, but the ndn offense did move the ball up and down the field very easily at times on your so called awesome defense.you say the coach made the right call only because y'all won the game. Your offense barely made 200 yards on a defense that gives p an average of 265 yards a game. Take away that fluke 80 yard td by benjamin who we actually shutdown the whole game the dogs offense was at best horrible in my opinion! If and I say if we had kicked the fieldgoal the game may have been different, we won't know because the game is over and we didn't try the fieldgoal! OT had we made it may have had a different outcome, just as if liv rb had played against y'all their outcome may have been different also. Where ned did beat us and I'm sure everyone else they played is in the field positon game, they are very impressive in that stat. I think that we could really improve in that aspect of the game is fieldposition! But you just keep boasting of how good your defense is and come playoff time we shall see! Like I said before I don't see anyone in our district making it out of the 2nd round, that is my opinion not trying to insult anyones team, just don't see anyone being that strong especially ned. Their defense may keep them in and win some games in district but come time for playoffs it will be a different story! So godog27 yes here we go again!

Well I don't know about everyone else, to me it doesn't matter where you live, everyone supports their team unless they lose some key players and go a losing streak! Lol. With myself I am a blue collar worker who works week to week. I don't know many people on here that I can say I have met face to face, but the ones I have met are just as passionate about their teams as I am. Some of these people I talk to on a regular basis even when it is in the offseason.  It is all good but I'm not gonna say I am more educated than someone else. It doesn't make any since to argue.  I just state my opinion whether it is good or bad, if I have to eat crow so be it. Yes I have pissed some people off one of them a. Coach from vidor who wished some bodily harm on me lol. But I will say this some of the things I say are just my opinions, don't mean a squat of beans, but in the end it is just football smack, and yes I am even hard on my ndns coaching staff at times too, still don't know why my head coach won't kick a stinking fieldgoal, one day I will get to ask him on what makes him not won't to go to overtime in a tight game. But he is the coach and not me I'm just a fan who likes to sit up in the stands eat my peanuts or nachos and watch some good or some bad football, as my boss says "it is what it is"

I was suprised that ozen only had one on one coverage, I guess they figured speed is all they needed.

Nelson from PNG kid is like a football magnet,he makes catches being doubleteamed look unbelievable, leaves everyone in the crowd on both sides scratching their heads wondering how he caught the ball, he's just Plain rediculous with some of his circus catches. You could make a highlight reel off of all his catches. He may not be the biggest or the fastest receiver out there but I. Can assure you no one else receives as much attention from defenses than him, his nickname should be doublecovered, so what. Lol. Kid is down right amazing at times!!!

I am excited that our team is getting better each week. Injuries have plagued us all season. We give up a lot of yards on the ground but we tend to bend not break. If we control the turnovers we look good to win out. I don't know why you are comparing defense to defense. Nederland does great against the run for the most part, don't know much about vidor. We did have success against ned moving the ball and scoring,it was a poor coaching decision to go for the first down instead of taking the fieldgoal to go to ot with ned. He is the coach not me. But I will say this we have a lot of offense to give so we shall see just how tough vidors defense really is. Both your teams didn't face a liv team with mays running the ball. With him out the qb is and has gotten tired that is why ned won and I'm sure field position and turnovers had a lot to do with it, ned is great at the field position thing.  No disrespect to either team, it is what it is, don't matter what the stats say, a win is a win. I can see ned winning out, livingston vidor and png all going to the wire. There is a lot of football left to play, can't wait for next Friday to get here, gotta love the Friday night lights!

I see livingston wearing down the ltrain defense. Qb for livingston gonna have a career night! Could be ugly, just feel sorry for ltrain having to listen to livingstons announcer, man that woman is horrible with a capital H !!! She screams everytime liv touches the ball.  :(

Surfernerd and yeah boy, you misread what I stated. He is a threat to scramble then fire it down the field. With that being said I meant that when he scrambles in the pocket he is very dangerous because he won't take off and run. I didn't say he was a runner and not a passe, if I would have stated that I would have printed than instead of then. But for u all I will say Ozen is gonna lose. Plain and simple. Fairclothe has our backs to the wall it is do or die I can see some offense coming strong on ozen, since we are classless I will go out on a limb and say that we are gonna destroy central week ten and make a 3 peat over the jags, then mr soulja will lose his bet and have to praise me on his signature! Sorry Rob tired of hearing this central crybaby insult my ndns, like central has never gone in and whippped the hell out of somebody. Wake up it is football play 48 minutes of ball, if you have someone down, keep your foot on their neck and beat em down!

I watched neds defense last year and had an ideah that they would be tough this year. They are really big on the defensive line and linebackers played very well against the run. They are good, but that doesn't mean they can't be beat. I haven't seen the backup qb for central, but if they can run the ball and be effective they could have a shot. Anything can happen on Friday nights we all know this.  I honestly wasn't impressed with neds offense, but they do do enough to get them by. Should be an interesting game. Good luck to both teams and hopefully they will stay injury free.

I can see this being a semi high scoring game. Think png takes this one, as long as coaching staff can discipline on both sides of the ball I think png is ok. Qb for ozen is very athetic, more of a threat scrambling then throwing the ball deep. We have to stop the run, and keep turnovers to a minimum.  Can't wait for Friday night to get here. Honestly do not think ozens defense can shutdown png. Question is can we stop ozen, I say yes we can! I think vidor. Now throwing the ball some was just a sample of what they can expect this week. We are very well balanced offensively, and if I am not mistaken are averaging over 32 pts a game or something like that, so ozen will have their handds full!

just to let ya know the two pt conversion wasn't planned it was a mishandled snap, wasn't trying to run the score up, but when your defense can't stop straight up the middle running the ball you got problems. I could have seen coach fairclothe putting in the backups earlier, but I'm here to tell you it would have been the same outcome. Without bertrand we still can run the ball, our 3rd string runningback could start for any team in our district and be #25 arvey is riding the bench. He is a freakin beast. Unfortuneatly he just has Bertrand in front of him and that ain't a good thing. I watched that kid last night run up the middle and carry the whole lumberton defense on his back and take them for a 15 yard gallop down the field. To me that was impressive. Surely fairclothe would let this kid get more playing time. He is a great compliment to bertrand, but a shame our coach wears rose colored glasses. Our qb when has time is throwing the ball quite well. For the second year in a row, our defense will leave you scratching your head. I will say this ltrain might be 0-6 but they did play hard and didn't quit! Showed a lot of heart, but they are better than gregory portland no doubt. That team we played at the first of the year was absolutely horrible in every sapect of the game!

14-14 at the half. Lions secondary can't cover worth a hoot! If fairclothe comes out throwing in the second half lions may be in trouble. Their qb must have a rocket strapped to his dairey air lol man he is quick lol. Both teams looking allright I guess, lot of pf on livingston just a lil dirty with one ejection on #2.

Well I know it don't mean much but the jv destroyed your lions last night. It wasn't even a game, so if that is a an indicator on what is to come, I can see some lion skin rugs laying out on the field! Got a nice breeze blowing in the stands right now should be a good one.

Well Soulja1 I may be coming to the butch Friday night to watch the soul bowl. Seems the livingston game with my ndns is sold out. I can't believe we actually have to play on a middle school field where the bleachers only hold 35 fans. But since the band is coming, no fans will be allowed on the visitors side!, don't know what is worse having to play an away game in livingston or one at LCM. ITS a damn shame to have to go to either one of these schools and play them without our fan support! So make sure you save me a seat!

Lol I hear ya brenhamfan, I guess you can sip on your green koolaid. Your team is legit. I have said this already this year, noone from our district will honestly make it past the second round. Sorry just being realistic, if they do I would really be surprised. With that being said, all the rumors flying around about the qb being hurt, the linebacker being hurt, our defensive lineman being hurt, all excuses, they are like butt holes everyone has one, quit making excuses, lol just play ball. The better team with the least amount of turnovers and penalties will come out on top! Both these teams were good playoff contenders last year. But this is this year and is a new season, no excuses! Should be a great game.

This game should be a good one. The lions have that big play ability, qb is quick, runningbacks are alussive, arm tackling is gonna kill us. If our defense rapps up like I know they can it cold be trouble for the lions. As for the ignorant people out there predicting png only scoring 14 points, you obviously are suffering from the hot temperatures and drought. Quit sipping that green koolaid, pngs offense once it gets rolling can turn it on with the best of them. There isn't a team in this district that can't be beat, I understand that we have some injuries but that is an excuse. I'm not here to post excuses, I want some results! District is starting, we've had time to make adjustments and heal up. I think Nelson will be hard to stop,bertrand should establish himself because they work him like a plowmule! I don't understand why they don't use the backup runningback also. He has good breakaway speed and hits the holes without hesitation. He is a great compliment to bertrand just going to waste! Don't understand why coaches just use him as a decoy, he should be getting some touches. Miller has shown he can run the ball and be effective thru the air. I'm glad to see that the lion nation is taking us lightly over-confidence can be a bad thing, and as for an indian without a spear, well that just makes for a Hungry Indian my friend. Now with that being said the only thing I hate about this game is the middle school field bleachers for the visitors and that annoying female announcer that is about as biased as they come. Other than that it should be a great game, hope my ticket scavenger can round me one up. wo weeks prepare and two weeks to heal, it is time to get our game faces on and play somr

Playing a playoff caliber team is gonna make you that much better in the long run. Sounds like it was a good game, don't know about y'all but I thought the weather was perfect for some Friday night football win or lose it was an awesome night ;)!

We got a win but it was over a mediocre team. This game was actually fun to watch from a certain standpoint. A couple of injuries on the d side of the ball didn't hurt us tooo bad. These two weeks off will be well needed to get healthy. We are nowheres where we need to be in my opinion. Tackling is a major issue this team could vey easily have been 3-0 at this point. But we haven't played a team that is playoff worthy at this point, in my opinion. Crosby has two kids that just gave us fits because we didn't rap up. GP is hopeless, have they even scored a touchdown yet? Texas city overall small not the team oflast year but their Defense did tackle fairly decent. I think if we play a team with an exceptional defense that we coul run into trouble down the road. We are nowheres near a playoff caliber teams by nomeans at all. Just got to keep working on the little things and try to get better each week, so ready for district to start and see where we really stand. So what game is there gonna be next week to watch? We have a bye next week and need a good game to go see!
