Hardin Fan

We found a game for the JV, still looking for possible 7th/8th grade games.

I know Hardin has only won a hand full of times in HD but, I am going with them in this one.  HD dose have a promising QB but I think they have the lack of receivers to go with him.  Should be a run game both way in my opinion.

Did not know it was that lopsided....Hopefully it will be a good game
 

Always tough to win at HD. In the history of the rivalry, Hardin has only won there 3 times.

wow. that's good for season after next though. and you are right......Stark in my opinion is the best thing that has ever happened to Hardin athletics. Hope we can keep him for the duration of his career.

Several of the kids aren't going to play football next year so we shall see. Coach Stark has been great for the program. Kids just need to stay with it.

I don't think this thread needs to turn into a pissing contest. Congrats to EC on a perfect season, and I know you feel underated. Congrats to Hardin for turning nothing into a something season. Both towns should be proud. Both teams have improved. 

Hardin my not pull this one out but, I would not call it an easy game just yet.  Hardin has improved in a short time but has a lot of hard games ahead of them.  Keep your heads up Hornets you going in the right direction.

For Hardin to win they need to score when in the red zone.  The Warren game should not have been that close as they had ample opportunities to score.  I have seen a lot of changes made since the first game that is for the better.  I would not count the Hornets out of this game yet,  it could come back and sting you.

I hope you are right.  Hardin needs a win to pick these kids up.  Hope the defense that played a couple weeks ago shows up tonight.

They really did screw up.

It was 1st and 35 for Woodville...  Chaim gang moved the chains back to make it a first and 10,,,and the officials after a midfield conference.  Let it stand.   Sadh

Hardins D really showed up tonight and the passing game got Hardin rolling. Who says Hardin doesn't need to throw the ball.. 

Oldschool2 I did not see Fortune at many of the Jr High games and sure didn't see him show a kid how to do a swim move on the sidelines to a kid having trouble getting past an offensive lineman.  I know stark is new and his drive is high right now so I guess we will have to wait and see.

Went and watched the Jr. High games last night and Coach Stark was on the sidelines watching and helping kids with what they were doing wrong.  I haven't seen any of the other coaches do that with the Jr High kids.  If he keeps that up he may be around for awhile. Winning or loosing he is always  praising the kids when coming off the field.

Puddleofmudd I agree with what your saying to a degree. Yes we are rebuilding and may not get many wins this year but to say the head coach only has 1 year to turn the program around is a bit much.  The kids are responding to Coach Stark well and give him 3-4 years and I think the football program will be a contender.  That's just my opinion.

Got to stay true to my colors and go with Hardin. 

I know this is not the place for this but I take offence to the Volunteer fireman comment.  If you don't want the backhoe operator fighting the fire the why not you Volunteer since you can do a better Job.  Just blowing steam sorry.

I agree, but if you allow them to play its a chance you have to take.  In my opinion it keeps them involved in something they like and might keep them out of trouble.

.......it's called a volunteer fire department, sorry that's all we have, lives and houses have been saved from that man on the backhoe and the person in the covered freaking wagon.

This will be an exciting game,win or lose I hope it is injury free.

We will have to execute very well against this athletic bunch from Woodville. I believe we are in for a tight game. Possibly could come down to a field-goal.
In which, Hardin has the ability to make inside 35 yards.

bighornet in my "opinion" when you pull your pads off and not play the rest of the game you have quit on your team.  In life just because things are not going your way dosent mean you should lets say "let your coworkers down", to me you should work harder as a team and get it done, but like I said that is my "opinion".  Just hope it dosnt rub off on the rest of the team.  Now to prepare for Woodville where it starts to count.
