If Arnold is playing and Warren is under the weather than it could be a tough night for the Warriors but if Arnold is not playing it could be a much tighter game.

Injuries and lack of depth has hurt both teams all season.  I am not gonna lie though, it would be nice to be homecoming spoilers.  Warren will take it 18 to 12.

Buna and Kountze definetly lost a lot due to graduation. Kirbyville brings back a talented pitching duo.  Anahuac was young as well.  I agree with the you guys on the rankings.  This is always a competitive district and this year will not be an exception.

Ive heard the same. I know the adams kisd spent alot of time with Arnold over the summer and I know he attended a Baylor camp with him as well. Time will tell though.

Warren kids played hard. They do not have their timing down on their offense yet but they do try to make you earn your yards on them.

Warren was the district champs for JV last year.  There was some really good athletes on that team and some size as well.  We will have to see how they do on the varsity level.  At least it is a positive.

Exactly. I thought Babin would, like he said he would. But I know it would've been hard to turn down his hometown school for Warren. 

​Brotha it does not make a hoot or hollar...I know Austin is proud of his team mates that pulled down awards and proud of his many friends in district 23-3A that did as well. You know Austin spent every game with the exception of one at first base...a position he has not played since he was 13, which allowed his coach to build some good experienced underclassman to carry the torch in the outfield and he did it with love in his heart and I am very proud of him: The biggest plus of all is; Austin already got the award of his dreams by being blessed with a Division One Baseball Scholarship and the chance to continue the dream.  Austin has had his share of the lime light and is truly happy for everybody else that is rightfully receiving their time in the sun shine. God bless all these young men as they go step into the real world and make their path. I know I have been proud to be a part of things for the past four years watching my son and his friends / team-mates compete together and against one another. In those four years successes happen and mistakes get made ending in sleepless nights where all you do as pray for a do over, but in the end you hope you have learned how to become better and more rounded person on and off the field. This holds true not only for the player, but from personal experience the parent as well. It's on to the next chapter boys...once again congrats, good luck and most of all God Bless!

It is very difficult. But all the credit in the world to the Warriors. They went out and got it done.

CH played a good game. They had 1 error in the field on a routine fly ball. Their big errors were getting picked on steal attempts twice. Caught them leaning to much. Kelby pitched a gem. Only giving up 2 hits. Don't know the strike out total but he had alot. Warren defense was spot on. No errors that I can think of. Warren had runners on base every inning. When we scored the leadoff batter walked, next batter walked, and then Hunter Jacobson then hits one up the middle. You kinda had a feeling that whoever scored 1 run would take it. A lot of small ball.

I tell you what, they are some kinda scrappers!!!

look buddy...one of our big arms developed a shoulder problem, one of those guys is a closer and the other one pitched his butt off making pitcher of the week twice. If your going bash me fine but, don't drag these boys through the mud... personal message me and rag the hell out me! Pitching was not the issue anyway...its called consistent offensive production that hurt the most. I am very proud of my Lions and their efforts, we came up short. and I wish the best for our friends still in it!
