They're playing really well. Utah Valley is no slouch either and that was a big win for LU last night. I'd like to see them hang with Kentucky this weekend and make a game out of that...

Diboll has outscored its opponents 465-42. Yoe's got their hands full, but I think this is gonna be one of the better games in the state this week.

It's actually 35-17 Jasper per Calpreps. I think you had the wrong matchup in there. I'll take Jasper 24-16.

I think this one comes down to whoever plays better on defense. I don't expect a lot of scoring. Don't be fooled by the 27 that HJ scored last night. Half of that came in the last few minutes when Barbay went deep into the depth chart. Jasper's defense is legit. Diboll fans would agree to that.

They play hard. I think they'll be a lot better than 1-9 next year.

It was 48-14 with 8 minutes left. I wouldn't read too much into the scoring in garbage time against backups. We're not where we need to be yet, though. Still too sloppy....

Final score: Jasper 51, HJ 27. Longtime Jasper announcer Art Lay didn't call the game since the beginning of the 4th quarter. Not sure what's going on there.

They can't say anything on the radio, but I heard from a friend that it's a broken leg.
