Oh it worked alright. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. It held the Tigers to 61 points. In the first game against Lumberton back in 22 we scored 123. In the first game this year we scored 84 in a very lackluster game. In fact it's very intriguing. Not for what Lumberton was doing of course. But can you think of a stall that keeps the opponents hands further from the ball? Can you think of a stall with safer passes?

And just like that it was a 28 point lead.

Will this game be streamed anywhere?

Tigers came close to blowing it open but Jasper held on.

It’s a high speed game despite the low score. It gets a little ragged at times.

35-18 at the half. Tigers are shooting fair from 3 but not so well inside. The Dogs aren’t making it easy in the paint. Silsbee is rebounding well.

Lots and lots of misses inside 10’

If looks are important it looks like this will be a pretty competitive game.

They’d have gotten it but they let the clock run in the 2nd half.

It’s always fun to watch the little Holt kid play. He’s a scrapper. Scored a few points too.

84-37 final. Tiger defense just smothered the Raiders.

Now the Tigers are putting on a show. 3 dunks i quick succession. 77-31 4:02 remaining.

39-20 at the half. It could be worse but Lumberton is playing very hard and pretty well, expending a lot of energy though. We’ll see if they can keep it up. Not a very good shooting game for either, worse for Lumberton. Good defense on both ends.

Troy just dunked one and hung on for the tech. Who can blame him. The first of many?
