Unless Bobby Booshea showed up at halftime for the leopards this game should pretty much be in the bag.
-
Guys, lets get real here. I'm all behind WOS going to state and I fully support them but this is a wholeeeeeee different football team the mustangs are taking on this week. Lagrange went undefeated in a district way tougher than Lamarque. The Leopards are well coached and well seasoned and have a ton of talent. Better pay them the respect they deserve or the Basketballs will be hitting the hardwood in West Orange next week. Chain gang defense will have to play very disciplined, assignment football to slow Lagrange down. Their speed is hard to match up with. Offensively, time of possession will probably be the difference in the game. WOS needs to run the ball well and try to keep the Leopards off the field as much as they can. I'll be there Friday night supporting to Mustangs and i'd love to make the trip to Dallas to support them as well. B)

Buddy we are talking about two different people here. Coach dubois spend 15 years at Vidor. And yes when the time was right he left for a better oppurtunity at Hardin Jefferson but if there is anything that man is it is loyal to commitments he makes. Unlike the pathetic excuse for a man who coaches at lumberton. Coach dubois has a great program brewing at HJ. He has poured sweat and time into that program. He will not leave it this soon.....
Goodness gracious you have some nerve mtc lol. Dude leaves a program that was about to go down the gutter for a better opportunity for himself and his girls and you want to call him a pathetic excuse for a man? Take your black and gold colored glasses off and look at the whole situation before you throw out that garbage again.

^ Slowing down the game, Inconstancy, frustrated coaches and players and making it harder on teams that press and also making it harder on posts down low. I'm not a fan AT ALL.
-
Great game. Lumberton had a ton of turnovers and PA definitely took advantage of it. Two great teams played tonight I was impressed with both (besides Raider turnovers) but they should clean that up. I'll say this with all my confidence if Memorial had just a little more depth they would be a legitimate State contender. Fantastic in transition, play great defense, shot lights out from behind the arc and have some size to mix in with those great guards. I did leave a little disappointed with all the whistles blown tonight, both teams were playing clean and good defense and they just kept calling tic tac fouls on both squads. If you have two teams playing hard and clean let em play and put the whistles up unless completely necessary. Rant over :D Both teams are going to be really good this year, cant wait to see what's in store for both.

Yeah hiring a quartersback coach from a not very good team was laughable. Dang sure would take Carey right now.

4 and 20 and we call a dive play. I truly feel sorry for the kids. This is hard to watch.
-
4 and 8 on your own 35 and you go for it?? C'mon man
-
^ Absolutely spot on. Great post

I'd say King's play on the field EVERY friday night is nothing short of spectacular.
-
-
I will say this too, I wouldn't bat a eye or give any kind of argument if DT wins it. No doubt he is a incredible talent.
-
No sense in even fighting it jjohnson, have people throwing in negative opinions without a real clue. I agree completely with you, without King HF would probably be winless. Teams have to game plan specifically for him. In my OPINION he deserves the overall MVP based off what he has been able to accomplish on the field with very limited pieces around him.

I like supporting my neighbors when I can. Lots of family connections and friends. Don't know if it was mentioned yet but that was a very moving and beautiful performance at halftime spreading the message about our fight to defeat breast cancer.

Yes sir ECFAN had my machos flamingo and went to the game just like I wanted :D I'll tell you what I would have a hard time believing that someone one the field could hit harder than Phelps but #44 for Buna proved me wrong last night. That kid could bring the wood!!
-
I thought that EC would win but was actually very surprised with how dominant they were. I said previously buc defense was too disciplined to let Buna beat them.
-
-
EC is also one of the better teams this year. It does not take a "realist" to realize that. I'll tell you right now to even think Buna would win in Winnie by 3 or more touchdowns is absolutely asinine. Not sure if Imagination has learned that word in school yet . Buna is a good team but not good enough to go to Winnie Friday night and win Point.Blank.Period
-
EC wins this game by a touchdown or more. East Chambers to disciplined on Defense to let Buna gash them repeatedly. Buna will have their moments but EC has one of their best coaching staffs they have ever had and will adjust well.
-
I have to say this WOS is loaded with talent from top to bottom, trust me I watched them against PNG but there is not a player on that team who is better than King.

I have seen some women at the Vidor waffle house that determine #4 is a terrible terrible lie
-
Mark my words, Nederland wins this one going away. Just like the last poster said everyone is 0-0 at this point now in District. I think this will be a hungry and angry Bulldog team that is going to be ready to play.
Nederlad - 35
Vidor - 14
-
I don't think it takes much of a coach to figure out that if you stop one guy you win.[/quote]. Running the same 5 plays def isn't going to get anywhere and it's not a super complicated thing to make an adjustment to stop the same dive play that has torched you for about 250 yards.
