Still lot of game left but you have to like Vidor's chances with a clock burning offense and a 3 TD lead.

PAM has to come out firing at the half or we will most likely lose. They need to stop being fooled by these freaking onside kicks! It blows my mind that these guys weren't expecting them to try it on several occasions. Coaching, coaching, coaching!

Uh oh! David connects with another stone to the forehead of Mighty Goliath!  Goliath is down on one knee!

Lol, don't worry the game is far from over, once the pirates aren't gifted fumbles and onside kicks the real game will start. Just remember how the PNG game went when everyone thought Vidor had it in the bag.

Is this game still being played?   I figured Vidor would have called it off due to the intimidation factor that PAM brings to the table.  4 yards at a time Vidor and get at least one turnover. You got this.

I like the optimism but it isn't going to happen, sorry. I like the pirates and they are having a great year but the outcome of this one is pretty obvious.

I do believe PAM used the excuse of being the smallest school in their district the last few years for their losing record.

Feels good to be the biggest school in the district doesn't it? Still hard to believe a city of PA'S size has only one HS and only that amount of students

Pretty easy to see why enrollment numbers are not very high honestly. Our drop out rate is extremely high unfortunately, 9th graders make up close to 700 students but by the time they become seniors, that number can end up in the low 400's or so. Plus we have 3 other schools (private/religious) in the city so they take away a few of our students. Not to mention that many people that live in Port Arthur end up using their friends or family members NED or PNG home address in order to have their kids attend those schools. I know of many kids that even go to Beaumont private schools such as Kelly. PAM still has over 2000 kids every year but since the requirements to be a 5a (6a now) school have been steadily increasing (2150 this year) and our enrollment numbers slowly declining, it was only a matter of time before we would drop down after barely making the cut the last 10 years.

You do realize if Porter can upset the king of the bronze Triangle that would most likely involve a 21 5A 4 team sweep lol

Just one problem..... That's a pretty big IF. The way I see it, PAM and PNG will take care of business. I see a 2-2 split between the districts realistically. I can also see Vidor surprising Crosby which would be pretty hilarious, also if we have any hope of our 4th place team winning it would have to be Nederland. Central would not get it done this year.

Stop  believing  Harrison  is a weak  qb. The guy  has offers to play  at the next level!  Has he made mistakes  a few  (3 ints) on the season and one was on a  hailMary  before  half  last week.   The  kid can  throw the  pill.  Let's not  for get  he's  big and  strong! 6'3"  and growing  he's going to get it done tonight. Not to mention a high  football IQ.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying the kid was terrible at all just that RJ seems to be a bit more talented that is all. Harrison is a 3 year starter with plenty of experience which is what you need come playoff time but after watching him play many times he gets rattled pretty easily and has trouble holding onto the ball. He is big and strong for sure, he can sling it better than anyone in the district but whenever he runs he just doesn't have that natural instinct like past PAM QB's have had.
