  1. The penalty that you so say heard about was due to Libertys Water Boy Kicking and slapping a WOS player as he walked back to the field from the sideline. It was so bad that they stopped the game because Libertys coach wanted to let Coach Thompson know what had happened and that he would fix the issue. There is also video proof if you need to see it so that you don't have to add this to your second hand information overload. For those that are eager to hear of WOS being exposed then yes if that is what you consider being exposed. They showed up and ran the Double Wing formation which is not what they have ran this year. It was pathetic as the spectators had to watch Liberty run play after play and then wait until 2 seconds were left on the clock to snap the ball. To some this was pure genius at work, to others it was the biggest let down to see them pretty much play keep away and still left empty handed. I believe WOS scored on 5/6 possessions and should have went 6/6. Time of possession is cool if thats what you think makes a team but it was very impressive to watch WOS score in 2 plays compared t watching Liberty play Rugby and lets pile on each other and see what we can get. If it is true that Liberty ran 60 plays with one TD and WOS ran 21 plays and scored 5 then the ratio is quite comical. WOS 4:1 and Liberty 60:1, you can have your time of possession, I am sure the Mustangs will take the points in the end. P.S. if you need $5 for a ticket so you can stop the second hand commentating and enjoy the game in person then let me know! I'll be glad to hook you up First hand!

  2. Liberty coached a GENIUS game plan! They did everything possible to utilize their forte which was size! The offense they ran tonight was not their normal offense to begin the game! They ran their Wing T as usual later in the contest but I would say that 80 percent of the game was an offense called the Double Wing which is comparable to the SlotT on steroids! I have seen this offense in lil league programs for years but never in high school! It was efficient, it ran tons of time off the clock and they would wait till the play clock reached 3 seconds every time before they ran a play! So it was ball control and good old fashioned ground and pound! It was not much fun to watch but it gave WOS a chance to prepare for whatever someone may throw at them! I promise you that others will try this on the Stangs but the result will be the same! The Double Wing is very hard to defend and to be honest if they continue to run it they will go deep in the playoffs! The craziest thing about that game is that they only scored 7! If this was any other defense having to face what we saw tonight they would have scored 40 easily! Great job by both teams and no injuries! It was FNF at its best

yeah i watched yall play HJ its ridiculous never seen anything like it but can you calm down on saying all the liberty people are beating their chest, maybe one poster on this entire website is, and i dont even think he was "beating his chest" just has a lot of confidence in our team, that's great, but don't act like we are all on here saying we are gunna beat wos and blah blah blah idk what your beef with liberty is, but this isn't the first time you have come at the entire base for what one guy posted

If I may interrupt the back and forth banter for a moment, I would like to officially be the first to say that Liberty will go 4 rounds deep this year and I truly think they have the potential to do so just from what I have seen so far! I will be there Friday night!

  4. In the Celina vs Community highlight which can be found on Max Preps. You can view a clip which at the 1:38 mark clearly shows the Celina Qb (Pingleton) walk over to the pile and stomp on an opposing players ankle by placing all of his weight on it. The Community player tries to get up but is in too much pain to do so and when I saw the video my mouth dropped that he would even do something like that. What is worse is the Celina faithful on Fox Sports Friday Football app that are actually trying to blow it off and that is down right sad. I hope the UIL gets a hold of the video and sends out a message that intentionally hurting another player is not to be taken lightly. What was he thinking and why did he do it?

  5. Region 4 is actually very very weak besides Cuero, Wharton and Navarro.Cuero is not as powerful as you think and please dont let their scoring fool you. Look at their scores against Yoakum and Sweeny, they were nailbiters. Navarro is good but they have not gotten over the hump of beating a well sized defense which is why Cuero took them out last year. They were too small to push those guys around but this year they have added a passing game to their attack and honestly gives them the upper hand this year. Wharton is full of speed, speed, speed but who have they played that actually has a winning record or a decent defense? Columbia? oh they barely beat Columbia who in turn barely beat Lamarque that is only hanging on for life by a string. In my opinion it will be Wharton and Navarro to see who comes out of that Region but that's just my opinion.

  6. Offense KJ Miller, Roschon Johnson, Calvin Tyler

Defense Mandel Turner King, Morris Joseph

I must say that hands down Mandel Turner King controls the middle line of scrimmage like no one else has the last few years. Watch his HUDL video and you will see that this young man utterly destroys every center in this area week after week and year after year. If there was a way to give someone the MVP award he would definitely deserve it!

  7. In my honest opinion. I have seen many teams in Div2 play this year and from what I have seen of Liberty they definitely have a great chance of making the 4th round this year. They will definitely win 1st and 2nd round in my opinion and if they played Gladewater it would be a very close game. They really aren't that amzing to watch. Go to Youtube and pull up Gilmer vs Gladewater and see for yourself. I will be taking that long trip to see HJ and Liberty this week. I think that it will be HJ in a close one!

  8. I feel as if HJ will find a way to slow down the Liberty back that everyone has seen this year and is running the ball like a grown man. Stack the box and force them to throw which is still not their forte! HJ has 4 returning DBs and should be able to make some big plays if they can force bad throws. I will take HJ in a close one for the WIN!!!!!!

He had similar numbers playing against 5a and 6a competition last year, so I'm certain he'd do it against probably any defense.

He didn't get any positive yards inv the second half, true, but he broke a couple of huge runs in the first half, which still, he ended up with big numbers, on a WO-S defense.  If Silsbee even had a threat of a passing game, you would've have stacked that box like that and he would've done the same in the second half...

That sounds like a bunch of shoulda, woulda, coulda!! 122 yds was very impressive though. It is equally impressive that a kid from Bridge City (Draper) did the same thing. I was actually very surprised with the speed of WOS to see him ran down from behind both times and don't forget that even with all those impressive yards i don't think he never saw the end zone.

  10. I just watched the interview and think that HJ did a great job on clearly stating that they are ready to play. The comment by BJIMBO about WO-S blowing the lead to lose in 2014 was worse than any other post on this thread! Very uncalled for. Remember that those young men gave all they had and if one wants to speak of karma or being arrogant then what happens when you joke about someones misfortune? I would refer to that as being the rear end of a donkey with diarrhea!

  11. In a few weeks the regular season will be over! Those who are truly concerned will have about 10 months to come up with private funding and sponsors for a new score board! For those who are only posting to stir the pot then you have a chance and opportunity to use your keyboard skills and email every business in Orange, West Orange and Pinehurst to help fund the project! Get started ASAP! Everything starts with a dream!

  12. Kennedale scored 3 times! The Mustangs learned a lot last night and to be honest it's the best thing possible! Getting roughed up and slapped around a little is always a great thing! These young men are a different level of players! They won't quit and they will not be satisfied with just winning! They want total domination and I really feel sorry for Hamshire Fannett! They are about to feel the wrath of last weeks mistakes and so will the rest of that district! Lord help em all!

  13. If you wish to drive to Nacogdoches, then that will be a great game to see but I havent looked at the lineup across the region yet to see which game is worth the travel. It feels so good outside you cant help but want to be a part of someones Friday night experience!!!

  14. Watching Gilmer the other night was a very interesting opportunity. They have a great mix of all that Hellrazor speaks of and to me what was most fascinating was their complete 100% effort to catch you off guard as many times as possible. On-side kicks, Hurry Up offense, No Huddle, Screens, Draws then a Deep ball pass and repeat over and over again. There was one play that was questionable but the ref let it slide when #25 Clearly pushed off the DB for separation and then scored. It was nice but definitely a push off. Gilmer is very, very good and will be out to hurt someones feelings this week in retaliation to their loss. I still pick them to win their district as well
