Didn't see a lot of defense played in round 1 or 2. We're fixing to see it in Round 3. Hopefully Trahan is good to go.

They had more than normal, but not the late hit or “loose you cool” type.

I have been trying to tell everyone all year Crosby is on a different level. The difference between Crosby and most other schools, is they have the same talent level on both sides of the ball. Where as most of the schools are loaded up on the offensive side. Nothing wrong In my eyes with a little SWAG.. I would think Crosby should be favored to make a deep run again. They Will definitely be playing in December. A team like Crosby makes the rest of our district better. Some times you need a good beat down to see the truth!!

What are the odds that we just replay our district bracket to determine regional champions?

I woke up with a feeling, it might be heart burn but... I believe in the region sweep! 

FBM was ranked #2 but that wasn’t your typical #2 ranked FBM team, especially after the Chris Marshall issue which is why I thought BH could beat them. I think it’s going to feel much more like you’re playing a state ranked opponent this week though. 
 
Consol. is big, physical and has very good team speed. Fedora has a couple state titles so you know what’s on their sideline too. The Tigers don’t have what we would called a high-powered offense over here but it’s extremely consistent and their defense probably matches up better with BH than the TC squad that just held them to 7. 
 
BH gets a huge stroke of fortune in the fact that Consol.’s starting qb is out for the season and they’re rolling with a freshman who should be in over his head against the level of competition BH is capable of playing at. The issue I see is that BH basically put the blueprint of how they have to play Consol. on film last week. Given a week of preparation I don’t think Coach Fedora is going to allow BH’s o-line to dominate like it did last week. It’s going to be interesting to see what their second act is? 

We didn’t squeak by Texas High last year either, show me consistency not one game. 

Y’all definitely won’t be making it to the title game. According to BigDog nobody in this district is making it past the third round. He was pretty spot on in his assessment last year when three consecutive weeks he predicted that Crosby wouldn’t make it out of the 2nd, 3rd or 4th rounds and that we were average. 

Someone asked what the odds were lol. All I did was reply. But if we wanna talk clean sweep put out a number haha. 

It would be amazing, but of course unlikely. Every game is winnable for our teams in the 2nd round, but I don’t think anyone but Crosby is a favorite. I’d say TC and PNG can be argued have toss-up games depending on which version of Tc and PNG show up. Bh has the tallest order, but that was true last week too. And when Bh is playing well, they have GREAT pieces in place to go head to head with most teams. PNG has to play better on defense and the png QB has to make good decisions and protect the ball more consistently. It can be done, but I’m not holding my breath. 

You need to stay out of Iguana Joes it will give you that feeling.....

Punting from your opponents 30 tells me about all I need to know about the coaching staffs confidence in the Marshall offense. 

That’s called “snow-flake ball”, we don’t play that over here in 12-5A-D2. You take your whipping and move on to the next week. In GP’s case “next week” involves free throws. 

Watch his HUDL highlights. Pretty good assessment above. If we play clean offensively we have a fighters chance. It’s apparent, the knock on our offense is being pressure and the QB struggles. I’m not sure how good defensively Montgomery is, but we will need a shootout to win. They have a pretty stout OLine and Washington can move. Just from what I watched, they do not appear to be a Crosby, so there is a fighting chance. I said going into the Crosby game we would get smoked, and we did. But I think if we have a good plan, we can pull the upset in this one. IMO, in the games we have lost, other than Crosby, we have made mental mistakes, pressure situations, we have crumbled. If we can get better QB play in those situations, we can make a game of it. Just my 2 cents. 

If my memory is correct and lately it’s been letting me down…I think it’s the only Texas high school football stadium that had a presiding US President (Ford?) watch/attend a game. I’m probably wrong, I just can’t remember…huh huh mmm huh huh huh…what we talking about again?  

Marshall is the weakest team of any of the four teams we’ll be playing this week so making matchups where you were trying to get another sweep this isn’t one you would set up, but if you excluded those two teams then this is exactly how I would set up the three remaining matchups. 
 
TC can play a 21-17 slobber-knocker with TH, PNG can win a 52-48 shootout with Montgomery and BH can grind down Consol. 35-31. All the speculation aside, 12-5A-D2 once again proves that we play from the most treacherous district in the region.

The problem with your post is BHFan is right and most of us know he is, because that is what all of us have seen from them on Friday nights. Your right, he stated he has no connection with the team, so he doesn’t have an unconscious bias to overlook the negatives because he knows a player or coach. He’s just telling it like it is.
