Oops…I agree. I was on a school board once and my experience was the board (my board) forgot that they represent the community. Although, the community never attended meetings and had no clue what was going on. Thank you for the correction.

I was more worried about AMC. They were huge on both sides of the line, athletic, definitely well coached and I think faster than us too. I think TH will be ready but Crosby has been tested. I don’t know much about TH but that defense there test is coming real soon. IMO AMC second best team in R3.

Not a UIL issue. Back in the mid 2000s, Texas High and Highland Park played in Shreveport. Story goes Highland Park did not feel Rose Stadium in Tyler was a large enough venue to host the game. They wanted Ford Stadium at SMU to be the neutral site. Texas High said no as that is in their backyard. Agreed to flip for a neutral location. HP picked Ford Stadium and expected TH to pick Rose. Texas High won the coin toss and picked Independence Stadium in Shreveport. Not sure on the back story on Nachitoches, but suspect PNG did not want Lufkin as the Tigers had familiarity with the facilities. Only reason SFA was not selected was (1) not available or (2) PNG had an issue with Nac is in our district. Pure speculation on my part.
I wonder (just speculating) if what you said about PNG were true, another reason that makes better sense to me is that PNG needs more room for there fan base.

I’ve watched the Crosby program from 2010 and I can say without a doubt this is the most disciplined team in the district. Yesterday I watched a punt where one of the Crosby players was blocking on a punt, to this whistle. The Marshall player took a little shot after the play, but the Crosby player just threw his hands up running back to sidelines. It hasn’t always been that way!
It seemed that Crosby had more penalties than normal during the Marshall game too.

Nah, as far as the legendary ISD stadiums in THSF Stallworth is probably top five. Any time you get a chance to bless it with what would be a game of that caliber, you do so. It would probably also be the location of an all 12-5A-D2 regional final too. Prior to that you drop 10,000 people in there Thanksgiving weekend though. NRG can wait until the semis.
The problem with Stallworth Stadium is this damn ramps and steps are too steep…for me anyway.

Easy “Dog”! The clearly better team won. Big Ned didn’t make it easy but Crosby did play back ups, Neds last td was on second string. As far as the refs go there are always calls that could have been or should have been either way, it happens to all teams/games. What I thought was most damaging for Ned more so than fake punt was 15 yard penalties, I lost count. Maybe, we’ll see you next year if not Ned has been a respectable opponent. It was a good game and we needed Ned to play us tuff.

We are going to cheer for BH in the playoffs because they represent our district…oops, I meant to say they are from our district. No worries here, go figure out how to beat your first round opponent, good luck.

I don’t even know when the last time TC was in playoffs. I never noticed them until we played them since realignment. I’m going with BH, they should keep throwing to #81. BH took us to overtime and TC wasn’t much of a match. If BH doesn’t self destruct they win IMO.
