Yes- and he was right about the Silsbee kids having "extra passion" because of how TACKY lumberton was after the game. The coach ran over to Silsbee's student section and taunted them, the Lumberton team DESTROYED our girls locker room that they dressed in. Spewed gatorade and water all over the place and due to some of the lockers having the holes like caging, ruined several of the soccer teams uniforms with the gatorade...it was a total mess...like they had won state or something. Now our kids had been out for 2 weeks with Covid and a few starters were still out, had not practiced or played in weeks...so there were several factors creating the perfect storm for Lumberton to win. They did win, and congrats to them for it, but all of that extra mess was uncalled for and classless! 
 

I know somebody from West Orange didn't call ANYBODY trashy! Silsbee has literally had to walk their kids to the bus since they have been in Junior high because grown folks who cannot take a L want to beat up children!!! Numerous occasions! If that isn't trashy i don't know what is.  

Whatever case might have been , we ready this year !! I know what I seen in the summer and we ain’t barring none  this year

Absolutely played big and strong down low!  Thats the type of play we need from him!

I don’t know why anybody would doubt Silsbee! Beat 6A powerhouse SummerCreek and beat Westbrook by more than Beaumont United beat them! Put some respect on these kids name!

All state guard Monica Bottley is back from concussion protocol, and has played all of the games. Scored 40 pts against Memorial.

Hey, Lady Tigers will be good once she comes back.  That girl can go!

I’ve seen Bottley and I know she can go.  But let’s make mention that BU all state/21-5A MVP Princess Anderson didn’t play either.  She averaged just north of 30 PPG & 5+ steals per game last year.

Was watching on phone could tell Bottley was there, wAsnt sure about one or two other players too small screen for these eyes!

If Silsbee would of had there starting 5 in this game they would have beat this team by 20. But this group gave it all..

Two point conversions. How many two point conversions have they attempted all year?  Very few and the ones they have weren’t successful. choosing to run Dodd on a two point conversion instead of QB sneaking in. Running Dodd knowing he wasn’t 100%. He couldn’t cut and run like he normally could. That hurt more than it helped. No adjustments: The QB position should be very questionable for next year. Got to call it like I see it. 

That 4th and 1 on the QB sneak was very questionable. Id have lined up Miller at QB with Dodd and let one of them run for it. There were 5 or 6 plays innthe 2nd half that I didn't think were so great but the penalties were the biggest difference. Im excited about what t the future looks like. Silsbee needs to have a mobile QB to put more pressure on the defense. 

Along with bad play calling and no adjustments.

I was very impressed with Silsbee's young squad.  Especially Botley!  Her poise and court vision is exceptional! Oh and her change of pace into the crossover is elite! Yes the score was very lopsided but Botley played practically the whole game and was very poised.  Bright future ahead for this young Queen, she has a very high ceiling and has next level potential.
