  1. Mr. Hoop Insider should NEVER be allowed to call an LC-M game again. From the botched 12 men call, to calling a late hit while the ball was being juggled from thirty yards down the field, to being able to see things that the other officials right on top of the play cannot see. That was a disgrace. Someone likes to be too much of a factor in the game, likes to see their flag fly through the air, and likes to feel important. Man, what a blatant display. Hopefully someone with the local chapter of officials will get their hands on this film. The questionable calls were all at such crucial times too. I honestly hope that he wouldn't be that obvious intentionally ! Very sad ! Good luck to the Bears. They played really tough and never gave up. They will beat some teams in 20-4A.

  2. That was a BIG win for LC-M against a good Cleveland team. There won't be any easy games in this district this year. I really believe that every week will be very interesting. I have confidence in my Indians, but they better be ready to play. I don't doubt that Coach Faircloth will have them ready, and I don't see the Bears sneaking up on us like a couple of years ago. Should be a good one. Remember, LC-M is building confidence and enthusiasm just as we are. Same type of situation. We should be rested and ready ! Go Indians !

  3. would love to see the raiders win this one but it aint gonna happen

The Raiders will run away with this game and win by at least 3 TD's . Barbers Hill just doesn't have a team that can compete with the

L-train. They  let PNG beat them for crying out loud. We will handle them with ease.

PN-G won 3 games last year and still took your DISTRICT CHAMPS to OVERTIME ! Keep talking, you are making yourself look REALLY intelligent ... ;)

  4. They did play a good game our kids didnt do what they were supposed to do missed blocking assignments and the delay of game, i was on the chain gang and some of the comments i heard from the Lumb coaches i wont put on here ill give it to the proper people and see what they want to do with it. I got burnt out there, my son stripped down to just his pants out there and poured water all over himself, did good seen him get through the line acouple of times but no help, and the arm tackling after what we worked on, it shows that we only practiced 3 days this last week ??? oh well to Vidor we go, and raider white as long as my sons an Indian i have plenty to smack about. :-*

    New Indian

I’m the head coach of the Lumberton Junior White Team so if you have evidence of any coach from our side acting in an inappropriate manner let me know and I’ll be sure to address it. But keep in mind we had a professional cameraman recording our game and picked up most of the sideline activity as well. One thing that sticks out on the film is when I had to call the head referee over to get control of the chain gang about their comments. It doesn’t surprise me to find out you were one of them.

Some of the things you may have heard while on our side are our coaches shooting down the New Indian theories and comments. You can’t take that personally because our coaches didn’t know your identity and certainly not aware you were on our sideline. You have to understand that we use your posts on this site as motivational tools. By the time our teams meet my boys are ready to rip your heads off and it’s unfortunate your boys have to pay for your comments but they have for the second year in a row.

Lets just leave at "Good Game"

I had a good talk with DL after the game. He is a lifelong friend and  I am also a coach for PNGYFA. Personally, I wish people associated with our league WOULD NOT get on this site and run their mouths about YOUTH FOOTBALL, especially if you are on the sidelines and involved in the game. I can assure you that DL made no excuses for the loss on Saturday other than that you guys are better at this point. Please don't let the one OUTSPOKEN person on these boards influence your feelings toward our association. We definitely took our lumps as a whole last weekend. We will get it straightened out. Good luck to all of you over in Lumberton. You have some strong teams top to bottom.

  5. Here's my take on the situation (for what it's worth)... I have experienced in the past that nothing irks the media more than someone trying to buck them on an FOI request. This really seems to push their buttons. Now I feel that this is turning into more of a pi$$ing match than anything else. Many people are curious as to whose names are on that list, I am one of the curious. But, I have to feel that there is a rhyme or reason to this madness. I also feel that if we as Indian fans are patient, then we will get a better coach because of it. I think we will learn in the near future why the Board chose to " go this route". I know that it is never a good idea to "take the law into your own hands", so to speak, but all that I care about as an Indian is getting the best possible coach to bring this program to an elite level. In no way is this a dig at Coop or any media members that post here, it's just one unimportant opinion.

  6. I am sick of you Indians complaining about people being jealous and hating on you.  You put yourself on that pedestal so don't get mad when people are looking up at you laughing.  Do not mistake dominance with money.  Money does buy you a new stadium, Money does buy you turf and a sixty foot score board, Money does allow you to pay a coach 100,000 dollars a year, and money does able you to require a masters degree when none of the other schools in the area can, but money also buys you a losing season with your only win coming from a team that is thinking about hiring a baseball coach as the AD.  Come on guys?  I am proud supporter of a 2A school that still waters the grass, the coaches take turns mowing the field, has a score board that was donated to them by a guy who fries chicken for a living, has a press box that is falling apart and pays their AD about what your janitor makes and they are just as proud of their program as you are.  They have just as many if not more supporters on this site than you do that keep it from being boring and they played for a state championship this month. So what did y'all do in the month of December? Oh yea, y'all removed your Coach of several years that has done nothing but dedicate his life to your program, for What?  Because you watched Central who wasn't even supposed make the playoffs go four deep in the playoffs, and you watched teams like Lumberton and Livington that has always been beneath you dominate you!  So you wanna talk about Jealousy, and Haters?  If that's what being a Indian is all about, and bleeding purple, then even though I live in Groves now,  Make no mistake IM A WILDCAT FAN!

    Then move back!!!

I second that !!! I think he's angry that they don't allow livestock in the yards in Groves..... ;)

  7. I can vouch for the Dicus info.....Total package is close to 120,000......There is not one thing about PNG that is better than Duncanville....You can try to get Traylor from Gilmer, I will be completely shocked.....If Long and Credeur are turning you down, how in the world do you think you can get folks from these types of programs?

Long and Credeur haven't "turned down" the PN-G job. I love how people get on this board and make comments on things that they know absolutely nothing about.

  8. Thanks for all the kind words. I helped coach these kids and they were a pleasure. They executed things on the field that ordinary 5 and 6 year old kids shouldn't be able to execute. They handled pressure unbelievably well. They were definitely exhausted and deserve the recognition that they earned. Thanks to everyone who supported the "Little Indians" and all teams that participated in the tournament.

  9. The Mid County Kindness program is a joint effort by the cities of Port

Neches, Groves, and Nederland to assemble teams of volunteers to assist the

citizens of Bridge City in their cleanup efforts after Hurricane Ike. On October

5, 2008, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the PNGYFA is asking for volunteers to go to

Bridge City as part of this effort and to show our support for the city of

    Bridge City.

All volunteers will meet at a designated gathering point and receive masks and

information packets. We feel that this is a wonderful opportunity to provide

much needed assistance AND to teach a fantastic life lesson to our own children

at the same time. All children are welcome and can work at their parents

discretion. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE TO DO from tearing out damaged sheet

rock to helping with lunch and handing out water.

It is recommended that each person wear long pants and gloves. Recommended tools

include chainsaws, buckets, wheelbarrows, shovels, and hammers. INSECT REPELLANT

IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Each family is asked to bring their own drinks and

    lunches.

Coaches, please urge participation from your team families and let us know how

many volunteers that you have. The PNGYFA also asks that you proudly wear purple

as we provide our support for the people of Bridge City. If you have any

questions, please contact Chris or Chera Latiolais at (409) 962-2009, (409)

289-2015, or (409) 363-1764. Thank you in advance to all who volunteer in this

    effort.
