  13. This reported from the Old Coach forum Jeff Dicus, the head football coach of the 2007 State Championship Lake Travis Cavalier football team, has accepted the same position at Duncanville High School, a Class 5A program in the Dallas area. Coach Dicus has been credited with turning around a struggling football program at LTHS that had gone 1- 19 in the two seasons prior to his arrival. During his tenure the Cavaliers won 4 consecutive district championships and won the Division II 4A State Championship this year. "This has been one of the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make, but I believe it's the right one," said Jeff Dicus. "I would like to thank our student-athletes, fellow coaches, teachers, parents, boosters, and the countless other Cav supporters. I am also thankful to the LTISD administration for their support of our football program and to the opportunities they afforded me. Together, we achieved great things, and I am confident this program will continue to be successful."
