People won't like thier reason but its actually a good move. Kids these will jump ship if you lose in football and morale in the community goes down.

Just look at WB.  20 kids transferred out in Aug last yr b/c of the losing.

Yep. Why HF is competitive now

Probably not Deweyville, more like Hardin Jefferson or Bridge City… oh wait, that was Little Sister Mauriceville that scheduled them. 😂😂😂

District opponent now. They may get there first win against lumberton next year

Lumberton is not moving down. Lol. They're one of the larger 4A's in the state. I know y'all think Lumberton playing LCM is like a bully picking on a smaller school, but that's who's in their district. Not much they can do about it. I know being WO-S's little sister all these years have given y'all a complex, but keep recruiting their players. Y'all will be ok!

Maybe lumberton can scrimmage deweyville next year. They like to build their confidence against schools like that... lcm will stick with png if they'll have us...

just because you work at HJ doesn’t mean you are right lol, it’s a uil thing it’s a div 1 and div 2 thing. Seems like a soft move out of bass’s play book if you ask me or whatever playbook they have

Definitely no basis of a good look.

Hj and Liberty wouldn't compete anyways. Lumberton LCM and Vidor have been in the top 3 the last several years. Those teams are not going to beat them. The only chance they would have is against is 2-8 Livingston

Livingston and huffman beat hj and Liberty easily. Literally I don't understand the gain. Usually you hear for travel purposes but thats clearly not an issue

HJ and Liberty currently compete in all sports from junior high up to varsity against Liberty, Huffman, Livingston, Splendora and Hamshire-Fannett. Football is the only district that doesn't look like that.

So to me if there's no rule against it and they choose to move up, let it be.

I agree but what's to gain? besides thinking it will be easier opponents which it won't necessarily be...
