Would love to see a few schools simply go independent and say to HELL with the UIL. NCAA is already struggling to keep Power 5 from walking away.

Have cops at games due to masks? Just what cops want to do. I truly appreciate this site, but when that statement is made I question things. If cops are at games over masks concerns, we truly have a Caesar has spoken and all you subjects must submit. Cops have enough issues right now without being asked that task. I appreciate your passion for sport, but a police state over masks???

I know 2 former HS baseball coaches that refuse to watch it. Like it or not, it is an endorsement of a Marxist organization. How about an anti-gang violence protest? How about a protest of NFL players that physically assault women? Nope, let's protest cops because of a very very small few that are bad. Media driven hysteria by the people that were once the most annoying students on campus.

How can anyone that believes the Bible is the only book that matters (we agree on something), support a party that believes in and proudly supports abortion, leaves God out of the Pledge at times, and supports assembly in the street but not houses of worship during these times? Speak truth to power, that your side loves to claim is really speak your unproven claims and feelings as though it is truth. I utilize books you speak of everyday. When the leading Sports Sociology text in America brags on Karl Marx on page 3 and demean people in this country that disagreeing with his views, I have little use for YOUR books. Sociology of North American Sport is the text. For those of you wondering why I mention such on this thread, this indoctrination in sport and fitness based education is filled with liberalism. Simply imagine the other fields of study at universities.

I am done with most professional athletics. Dropping weight left and right because I no longer sit and watch others play games I still love. Mostly 20 year old kids that have been influenced by liberal media that has completely taken over the sports "journalist" as well.

Mr tomcat is accurate. Warren's success on the field may not be stellar, however they have carried decent numbers on the JV and Varsity squads based on school size. Actually, based on wins year in and year out and school size, I would consider the number of kids playing to be quite high. With that said, there have been a few years, though limited, where grades have thinned the numbers at a high level toward the end of the season.

This site is named setxsports as you all know. Thus, I bring you a sports thought on this. Liberal agenda is the very reason I have for years rooted against that university in Austin. Petty? Probably so, but so be it. Many guys I coached with often said that I was "over the top" and it was no big deal. Truly wonder how many are changing their stance. 50 to 1 ratio liberal to conservative among young professors according to a former professor on Fox News a few nights ago. Almost every school in the SLC would jump to the Sun Belt if offered. It simply won't happen without being a decent size TV market. Sam Houston tried this around 10 years ago and attempted to claim the Woodlands/Conroe area as part of its TV market. It was essentially laughed at by the Sun Belt. Lamar is the only school geographically sensible with a remotely decent sized TV market for the Sun Belt and trying to make the Golden Triangle TV market argument is difficult enough.

Curious as to why you would like to see them leave the SLC and what conference would add them? I dont see a geographic fit in a FCS based conference. Also, the TV market in and around Nac. Is not large for a step up to a mid-major playing at the FBS level.

There is a believed ratio of 50 to 1 liberal to conservative professors on college campuses among younger faculty. What I state below comes from much of that 50 group. I had a doctoral professor provide a document to the class stating that you could not have a scientific approach and be a Christiain. Much of what is taught in universities is anti biblical. If you don't believe what I state, simply look up a few text books used in sociology courses. It would not take you long to question what you read. I beg you to really take time to do this and see if you don't have a change of heart.
