I know that's what I've always seen from every program I've been in for football. If you have a player (or a team) that can't keep it under the control, you play aggressive because it will set them off. You have to be able to get past that.
As far as the complaint about both sides jawing, my take on this has always been to be the bigger person and let the scoreboard talk for you. It doesn't matter if the other guy is calling you everything under the sun, you saying something back will not add a single point to that scoreboard.
In my time in PA I noticed that Memorial was always stacked with NCAA caliber players. If they can get the penalties taken care of they should be just fine.

This is my last week at Bob Hope School, as I am making my way back to Brenham and will be coaching at 1A Dime Box.  However I saw this article in the Enterprise yesterday.

Heartbreaking game but my hats off to Hargrave. Excellent team with a very classy coach. I hope they represent SETX well at the regional tournament next week!!

Coached my first softball game tonight and it was a fun one. Our girls picked up the win over Central 19-4 in 3 innings. Viviana Gutierrez had 4 strikeouts and a 2 run rbi double. It was an excellent team game for the Lady Eagles!

Final - HJ 6-0. Very athletic Lady Hawk team.

Bob Hope wins. I believe the final was 58-49. Bob Hope was down by 18 at one point but rallied back for the win. Big night for Jaydon Daigle and Chris May.

Excellent work PNG! Win state!!!

Congrats to PNG.  The better team definitely won.  Solid lineup with really good pitching.  Good luck in Round Rock.

With the weather the way it's looking for Friday, PNG is in the drivers seat. SOLID win tonight against Brenham's ace. There's no two ways about it, tonight the Indians were the best team on the field.

Seems like more teams are throwing off the 1st game this year than I can ever remember and saving their best pitcher for game 2.
 
Numbers wise, it seems that Vidrine has been PNG's best pitcher this year and he hasn't started a game 1 yet.  It will be an interesting chess match between the 2 coaches.

We had a very successful signing season here at Bob Hope, with 8 players going on to play college ball, including 7 for soccer. Our soccer signing class for this year is:

Jorge Martinez - Paul Quinn College or Jacksonville College (has two offers and has to decide before Friday)
