1. Detroit finally scored a few runs to take a 2-1 lead.  Hopefully they can hold on and this series will go a couple more games.
 2. Panda with his 24 hit of the postseason and 1 short of the record.  He is killing it
 3. Is this a basketball thread?  :D
 4. Vidor's defense is one of the best in the area and doesn't get the credit.  Vidor should win this one especially at home.
They score 37 on Silsbee to answer your question.
37 is actually the most points that LC-M has scored in a game all year, matching their total against winless Lumberton.

 7. Giants win 2-0 and take a 3-0 series lead.  I at least thought this series would be competitive
 8. What's Ok doing?  Great for the Rockets but not sure about the Thunder
Central averages 25+ points a game playing 5a school in non district LC-M averages 29+ points The only other teams to shut out HF and HJ was Bridge City WO-S is the only team to shutout Buna and OF all season
 10. Not really SETX, but we seemed to play them every year in the playoffs.  The McCown's from Jacksonville had a good run of QB's.  There is a new McCown this year, with their cousin Carter taking over the QB duties.  [Hidden Content]
Mine would have to be the Bronsons in Jasper.  For a while, it seemed like there are always a Bronson on those teams for years....and they were always FAST and BIG!!!
They were all very good athletes.  Right when you would get excited that you didn't have to face them anymore another one seemed to take his place.

Angleton 21 George Ranch 24. Geroge Ranch 21 Kingwood Park 24. Angleton scored 39 on Nederland, same Angleton who could only manage 21 on George Ranch which is one of the non-district victims of those sorry Kingwood Park Panthers.
Nederland 21-7 over Crosby.  Crosby 35-17 over BH.  Dayton barely beat BH 13-6. None of that means a thing.  Dayton better play better than they did last night or Nederland will run all over them.  Nederland will have their hands full in the 1st round, but to say they have no chance is silly.
Nederland 21 Crosby 7 - Dayton 45 Crosby 21 you do the math if you wana look at it that way
I don't want to look at it any way.  Past scores mean nothing when these to teams square off.  It will be a good game with whoever makes the least amount of mistakes winning. The only way Dayton & Nederland will play is if Dayton loses to SC.  Are Dayton fans conceding this game already?

 16. Now my head hurts.  Still a lot of things that can happen the next 2 weeks.  All you can do is win both games and see what happens.
 17.
how many points does Central have to beat LCM by to make the playoffs?
If LC-M wins they are in If Central wins and Ozen loses one of its last 2 games then Central is in.  If it comes down to these 3 teams tied at 3-4 then Ozen gets in on points Central- Ozen(-20) Ozen- Central(+20) LC-M(-6) LC-M- Ozen(+6) If PNG somehow wins out and 3 teams are tied at 3-4. Central would make it because both teams beat PNG and Central owns the head to head tie breaker over LCM Central- PNG(+6) LCM(?) PNG- Central(-6) LCM(-21)= -27 LCM-PNG(+21)  Central(?)

They seem very worried about their matchup in division 1 and central winning and getting in the playoffs was their only chance to go the easier rout
Central can still get in with a win against LC-M.  If they win and lose to Ned they will be 3-4 in district. If LC-M loses the last game to Vidor they are also 3-4 and Central would have the head to head tie breaker.  Both teams will most likely lose their last game, so the LC-M/Central game next week should be for a playoff spot.
I guess that is not neccessarily true, because Ozen .and PNG can also end up at 3-4 and it would go to points.

Certainly sounds like they gave up after the punt? They should certainly clean house if that was the case. This was a must win for Central and it sounded like the staff just gave up.
After the punt Central had 2 timeouts and had to stop Livingston had 3 plays.  On one of the plays they couldn't stop the clock.  A lot of coaches let the clock run on the 1st play and use their timeouts on the next 2.  When Livingston got the first down the game was over anyways.  I think it was 4th & 30 from their own 7 when they decided to punt.  Not many plays in the playbook for that kind of yardage
