6 games will be on the SEC Network on Saturday so 90+ million people will have the option to watch if they so choose. I wanted to watch Texas play last Saturday to see Chucky's first game but since I have Direct Tv I wasn't able to. I left my house and met king at one of those fancy new sports bars with 100+ tv's and 100oz beer tubes. Not one of those 100+ tv's was able to pick up the LHN as crazy at it seems. I don't get how the top program in the country can't get their games on TV. A $60 bar tab later, I guess I learned my lesson about the LHN and it's very limited distribution.

This is a great quote quote: Watching Bo Wallace play quarterback is like trying to potty train a kid. Just when you think he's got it all figure out he craps his pants in the mall.

Supposedly for amphetamines @ESPNStatsInfo: Wes Welker suspended 4 games per report from @AdamSchefter Welker has 3,701 receiving yards over last 3 seasons, 5th-most in NFL

Northwestern State, Buffalo, and bye is Baylor's schedule the next 3 weeks. Heisman's are nice, but Baylor has a legit shot at winning the Big 12 and making the playoff if Petty is healthy. I would sit him 3 weeks and have him 100% for Iowa State on Sept 27th.

Because it's more fun than working all day!

The playoff is supposed to pick the BEST 4 teams. Bama vs Georgia A&M vs Auburn Sounds good to me!!

Baylor - Top Program in Texas
PhatMack19 replied to whatnamecanipick's topic in College Sports Forum
"The Best Football Program in Texas" thread was started by Buddy Garrity. [Hidden Content] Baylor has had 1 good season in an average conference and lost to a directional school in their bowl game. I guess that makes it the best program according to some. In reality Briles was 4 games over .500 in 5 season before last years breakout "championship season" This is one of my quotes from that thread "This is Baylor's conference record since Briles has been there. I guess it doesn't take much to be considered "The Best Program in Texas" by some 2008: 2-6 2009: 1-7 2010: 4-4 2011: 6-3 2012: 4-5 2013: 8-1" -

That was a backwards pass. Louisville is about to get hosed out of TD

It doesn't hurt that Petrino is one of the better coaches in the country. Especially if he can keep his secretary off the back of his bike.

Strong left Louisville loaded this year 7-0 Cards

Schaub was beat out for the starting job on the Raiders by rookie Derek Carr. Poor guy

quote: Monday was a day off so Petty won't be able to test to the back on the field until Tuesday. Petty said the injury is being treated with ice and other non-invasive methods. "Right now, (I) can't sit down right, can't walk right," Petty said.

Am I wrong? "Tyrone Swoopes, one of the top quarterback recruits in the country, has reportedly committed to the Texas Longhorns, according to Geoff Ketchum. Swoopes stars for Whiteright (Tx.) High School and also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Stanford. Swoopes stands 6'5" and weighs 220 pounds. He is rated four stars or better by most of the major services. Some have even called Swoopes the top player in the state." Geoff Ketchum @gkketch Follow Although we're still working to confirm with the young man, we've learned the state's No.1 prospect Tyrone Swoopes has committed to Texas. 10:43 AM - 17 Feb 2012 Austin, TX, United States 54 RETWEETS 1 FAVORITE [Hidden Content]

On the bright side at least you have a 5 Star QB to take over for Ash. Who said Mack left the cupboard bare?
-
@ESPNTexas: Texas QB David Ash will not play against BYU, Charlie Strong announces. Took a hit vs. North Texas. @mikefinger: Strong says Ash took a hit in the first quarter. Will be evaluated by medical staff. No timetable. Swoopes and Heard will play. @max_olson: Strong: Ash left stadium Saturday OK, called late Saturday night to report injury.

According to reports he was fine during the game and the symptoms came on later. He was taking a risk playing already, I wonder if doctors will ever let him back on the field.
-
No symptoms until after the game. He may be done with football for life.
