This morning from Chip Brown:

"I'm told Heard is so far behind Swoopes as a passer that there could be real questions about if Heard will be able to play quarterback at the DI level unless he improves in that area by leaps and bounds." ~ Chip Brown.
I agree the athletes get screwed, but allowing them to sell autographs and other stuff just opens up a huge can of worms.
How many schools would have boosters telling recruits "come here and I'll pay you $100k for your autograph?"
Uncle Nate chiming in
@UNCLENATEFITCH: Hey @slmandel tell the people to let the man make money off his name. Screw anyone that says he shouldn't and can't.
@UNCLENATEFITCH: Hey @NCAA screw you. I hope Todd has good people around him that have his back. I hope nobody cooperates with you thugs.
He's needs to call JFF for legal advice
@BruceFeldmanCFB: Hearing the investigation into #UGA star Todd Gurley is for possibly accepting extra benefits for his likeness w memorabilia brokers.
@bowallace14: Lol getting ready for practice now. Def didn't get arrested last night. C'mon twitter. Get real [Hidden Content]
Bo is saying it's not true
He's not very bright
@BleacherReport: Adrian Peterson could be arrested again after admitting he "smoked a little weed†before a court-ordered drug test [Hidden Content]
Both schools made the cover of Sports Illustrated this week. That's not good. Clayton Kershaw was on the cover last week and went 0-2 in the playoffs. Hopefully the SI Cover jinx strikes again.
Let's play the ratings game. Which 2:30pm game will get the worst rating?
North Carolina at #6 Notre Dame
#9 TCU at #5 Baylor
#2 Auburn at #3 Miss St
#12 Oregon at #18 UCLA
I think it will be a good fit for both. Mack won't be expected to win championships at SMU and they have plenty of big time boosters for him to rub elbows with.
I agree, I was really just joking.
A lot of people think Mississippi State's Dan Mullen will leave to take the Florida job when it comes open. He won a few National Championships there as an OC.
Florida cancelled media sessions this morning and had most people thinking Muschamp was being fired. He could have been on a plane to College Station in the morning.
Should be some good games this weekend.
Arizona and TCU made huge jumps in the polls. Can they win back to back huge games?
Can Baylor finally beat a team with a winning record?
A TCU win would go a long way toward the Big 12 title with head to head wins over the 2 front runners.
Georgia vs Mizzou game should decide the SEC East.
