A&M and South Carolina tied at 6 in the 7th SC has 6 runs on 4 hits and 3 A&M errors. That's the defense I've been worried about all season.

I don't really care what happened before the Great Depression, but you asked. The past is what you guys hang your hat on, while A&M is looking towards the future.

In 1919 three teams claimed a share of the title A&M- 10-0 and did not get scored upon. Wrecking Crew!! Harvard- 9-0-1 Illinois- 6-1 [Hidden Content] In 1927 four teams claimed a share A&M- 8-0-1 Illinois- 8-0-1 Georgia- 9-1 Yale- 7-1 [Hidden Content] In 1917 A&M finished 8-0 and did not allow a point, but does not claim that title. Maybe one day they will add that year to the banners. 3 was a little much to add in 1 year, so they saved this one for later. Things were a little different way back then. I don't see the big deal with A&M claiming those except for they waited too long. They had the best record in the country each year.
