Yeah buddy - I killed it in the woodwinds. 1st chair as a freshman, had an article in the paper and everything.
I understand his parents’ trepidation towards his carries in high school, and the potential for wear and tear. I also understand a coach using his best offensive weapon while he has it. Nobody at PNG was worried when Bergeron, Gouhlke or Hemmings was toting the rock 30+ times a game. Some of y’all were begging for this kid to go both ways last year. 
Point is: Parents want to secure his future - Coaches want to secure theirs.

I love how you people don’t think PNG played football till RJ arrived.  Don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed watching him play these three years and can’t wait to watch him play on the 40 acres but PNG has won a lot of games before he got here and we’re going to win a lot of games after he leaves. A question for the gurus, if Crosby loses its last two games to Ned and Lee, and SF loses its last two games to Dayton and BH AND Lee wins its last 2 against Vidor and Crosby, leaving them all tied at 3-4 for 4th place, would that give Lee and outside shot at the playoffs on a tiebreaker? I know it's a long shot, but I got bored and was looking at how things could play out.

Upfront Big game ! Congrats to both teams , overcame a lot of adversity to get here !  Great job by  coaching staffs who give much to the Mid County community they serve . Probably another classic but I have to go with my Dogs by 7 . Edge on defense , but home field ??? I’m not sure anyone can get a home field  advantage in this one ! Hoping for good weather no injuries ! This is what high school football is all about , great  communities, great BANDS , great FANS, great DRILLTEAMS , great CHEERLEADERS & GREAT TEAMS !    Let the Madness begin .

Mr. Tom Herman is rumored to make a appearance at this game according to the Horns message board. Wanna watch his incoming QB and recruit Garth. 

The difference is Nederland lets kids go both ways. You have receivers that play DBs and running backs play LBs and etc.. The kids at Nederland maybe besides the Qb, have an offense of position and a defense position, which they practice at weekly. PNG kids when they get into the program they are divided up between offense and defense of guys, every once a while a guy might flip. When they flip they are not as good as they could have been because of years of not getting those skills developed for that side of the ball. JMO
