Again, this is the current staff at WB's third season. Just three seasons ago WB competed every year and made the playoffs! You keep throwing all these abstract reasons like they're facts but are really just your attempt to sound smarter than everyone else. So is it the mystical equipment, facilities, resources, or is it the culture of the city, schools, and COVID. I didn't realize that COVID only affected Beaumont and their schools. LMAO... Dude you're either on one of those losing coaching staffs or you're a guy that has another screen name and are trying to use this one to cosign on your opinion.

So, you're saying Atascocita and North Shore has special equipment, facilities, and resources that make kids better football players, and Beaumont doesn't have the resources to get this equipment and facilities. So why don't other schools in those districts like Humble, Kingwood, Kingwood Park, and Galena Park have that magical equipment and facilities? Its the exact same resources! And why does these magical athlete creating machines and facilities only work with football players? Beaumont has no problem competing in basketball. Three years ago, WB football was a third round playoff team. Five years ago, WB football competed for the state championship. So did this magical equipment, facilities, and resource come into existence after that? Or maybe BISD hired the wrong coach to lead their programs. Just maybe our athletic director sucks at his jobs and keeps hiring dudes he knows and that's killing the Beaumont programs. What if parents are sending their talented kids that would be playing for WB and United to surrounding area schools cause they don't like how the coach runs his program. Why is your big facts and big truth is only accurate for Beaumont? Port Arthur has very similar facilities and resources to Beaumont and their team is doing quite well. What about Silsbee, Hampshire Fannett, or PNG? Maybe I'm missing something, can you make it make more sense?

Actually what I said was that if Boutte played his kids in a more up-tempo style that they could get a win on United but United would be favored to win all games last year. Well this year West Brook will be favored to win all games against United whether Boutte plays up-tempo or not.

What's laughable is you probably can't name 3 starters for West Brook and can't name 3 players coming off United or Silsbee's bench but you're on here crying about a made-up preseason poll. LMAO...

Were they hired to be good men or football coaches? The fact that they are good men is not in question. Their ability to lead young men to win football games is. They absolutely suck at it, evidenced by the lack of the team's ability to even make games competitive. Can we find a person that's good and has the ability to actually lead a program to win football games!

Man the Derek Carr that played for Clements wasn't the QB he is today. Didn't he move to California before his senior year and then he took off? I actually went to that game in the cold and rain and watch Stump trick off the win. WB led that game until a little over a minute left. It was some very questionable calls by the coach that cost WB that game. That Dickerson team didn't have the Lamarque kids on it that the Dickerson North Shore has been playing has. WB was clearly the better team in that game and Stump got in his own way again. As far as the Cy-Falls team, WB was better than them on both sides the ball, hell sports mags had the Bruins as the dark horses to make out the region that year. Dude underachieves as the head coach given the talent at his disposal. As for Peevy he made it to the holy grail of TX high school football, the state championship game. Stump can't even make it out the region. So if we use your logic, doesn't that make him the better coach? Peevy has a state runner-up trophy on his resume, Stump doesn't.

All the teams I made bold, Stump's WB teams had equal or better talent than. Stump had future pros on those team as well. Christine Micheal and Ryan Grant were on the team that lost to Dickerson. Hell Peevy accomplished more at WB with less. My opinion might be strong as calling him not good, but he definitely underachieved with the talent he had at WB. Plus, the Atascocita fanbase is starting the have those same sentiments.

You have a point, but Stump has loss games where his team was equal or was only slightly better than their opponent. Look at all those loaded WB teams he coached and couldn't make it pass the 3rd round. All those years at WB with the bulk of the Beaumont talent and he won district once and never made it out of the region.

Yeah he's not all that. He only wins when his team is clearly better than their opponents.

West Brook has kids bailing out of the football program to surrounding area schools because of the coaching. The Bruins were a couple years removed from competing for the state championship and a making a second round appearance the year before the current coaching staff was hired. For whatever reason, the kids at WB do not believe in the current coach. Its evidenced by their performance on the field. Hell the one of the most important aspects to coaching on this level is building relationships. Our current coach is a really good guy, but as a head coach at this particular school, he's not working out. From the second round of the playoffs the year before this staff was hired, WB has went to 5-5. 1-9, and will more than likely not win a game this season.
