  1. Um where's the poll?? πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
  2. Finally finished watching the WOS Ned game in full, Ned does run that same D png runs, certain plays #8 made it look like it was 4 on the line. If we don't put at least 40 on the scoreboard offensively I'll have some questions. Ned does have playmakers on offense, specifically the RB who torched us twice last yr on big runs and Tezeno at WR. Ned defense doesn't put a scare into you IMO, plus we've seen it already, that should be an advantage for Memorial. Have to establish the run game early on and not turnover the ball. Not real sure what WOS was trying to do 1st half but their run game got going in the 2nd half. I think Martin, Baker and Eugene could have a huge game for us next Friday if we utilize them more instead of running Memorial's favorite play since the mid-to-late 2000s: that "ultra dynamic" bubble screen πŸ™„ Also: if in fact we do have this game in hand early put the backup QB in for a couple drives at least, don't do what we did Sanders years when he was in the whole game and backup QB got zero in-game reps.
  3. I'm talking about for NCP. I remember they had 3 different kids play QB last season, but one was a RB though that had a brother that was a SR RB last season.
  4. Is NCP QB the same kid who played RB last season?
  5. Some would want Hickman fired after wos band loses that battle.
  6. @Austin1985 I'm watching the WOS/Ned game from the beginning (I only saw the 4th qtr live last night), you're right they do play that crazy base defense with 3, that's not gonna work next week if we're not predictable on O.
  7. Bout to fire up the ole tablet and watch this one from the beginning.
  8. As usual Center turns a football game into a basketball game.
  9. One big thing in this one: Ned not playing a 3man front on defense it looked like, it's 4 sometimes it looks like 3 but it looks like Memorial old defense, someone gonna come off the edge, it wasn't that 3-3-5 look. We'll see how well the OL holds up, I expect Ned to blitz more than what Png did, that will force Memorial to change up things offensively maybe?? Have to get the run game going with our 3 RBs.
  10. They better start trusting their QB and call more vertical stuff in the passing game and not be vanilla in the playcalling or the Ned game will look like last night offensively. Also Stoever needs to make better reads, a few times he almost got picked while having another WR open (can't try to force feed #14). But it was Week-1 πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ No pun intended but it looked like the same offense that BU had the season Chandler Rivers played alot on offense, only difference was no jet sweeps.
  11. Stangs in a close one.
  12. 51-7 Lamar. Not sure what's up with the bot.
  13. !!:51/7/F This was actually WB at H. Lamar.
  14. I've asked that same question the past 2 seasons. It's a head scratcher πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
  15. Wow! You handled those results quick. πŸ’ͺ🏾 I'm right where I need to be to start the season. Hopefully we don't have wet weather during the games next week, if so it'll be alot more toss up games, which will make pickems a bit interesting.
  16. "I thought the kids played really hard. We were obviously in really good shape as we weren’t really affected by the weather or with cramps." β€” Memorial coach Brian Morgan [Hidden Content] Pretty sure Martin is a Sophomore, misprint by the paper.
  17. With the win tonight at home the Titans extend their regular season home win streak to 15. Last regular season home loss was 2019 to current district-mate Kingwood Park 20-13.
  18. SAC is replacing a ton, but still to go into that stadium and win is a great win.
  19. @Austin1985 look at this.
  20. Good job BU. Closer than I expected. πŸ’ͺ🏾
  21. Last Old High vs Rider rivalry game before all 3 WFISD HS's close. (2 new ones opening next school year.) 41-13 Rider wins! Abilene destroyed Permian 49-14 Both winners are 5A D1 schools, just FYI for fans of 5A D1 schools. Local ties: Killeen Shoemaker went to San Angelo and won 34-27. Can't remember the last time the Shoe won in that stadium, if ever.
