You know, it was only two-three years ago your little pocket of Region 3 was spouting off about how "slow" we were.    That Atascocita team that was senior heavy, FAR more talented then this SC team, and we gave them a whooping they would never forget.    We beat them in all phases of the game, It was over before it started.  Speed means very little if your kids don't have the fundementals down.  Just ask North Shore what they think about Katy, and our "Slowness".  How about you ask Humble about our "slowness".  Ask Ike about our "Slowness".  Ask Alief Taylor about our "slowness".  lol  You are beyond hilarious.    Not only would the Tigers take you to the woodshed, we'd give your middle school players nightmares. You'll get your chance their puppies, and when you do, don't say i didn't warn you.  lol
;D

 3.
MBG, was referring to something posted to me some time back.  From TIGERATTACK ...a Manvel fan.  This post: around page 8 or so: [Hidden Content] "It's a lot of 5A teams that would beat the dog censored out of SC right now... I thought Manvel was tough censored last year too & yes we were a great 4A team.  5A is a rude awakening bro... I know, I'm experiencing it now.  Early in the season PAM would have drug Manvel up and down the field. (and I'm a Manvel fan). Honestly 5A is a whole different ball game in the trenches.  Playing a teams like NS convinced me of that.  When a team has 2 or 3 different, big and talented lines on both side of the ball to throw at you for 4 quarters, depth immediatedly becomes an issue.  And the average 5A team never quit... never!  LP and PAM has learned how to play against the big schools... Scheme wise, clock wise etc... It's not easy bro.  SC can't beat half the teams that lost in the 1st round of 5A playoffs. ex:  PAM, Pearland, Cy Falls, Lake Travis, Cy Fair, Klein Oak, Spring Dekaney... etc  Manvel would probably be ranked #1 4A without the alignment.  Now we just in the middle of the pack taking it one game at a time.  It ain't easy.  There's no Yates, Sharpstowns etc... in 5A playoffs."
Ever heard of the "sandbagging" concept genius? Probably not since SC cant sandbag yet, they have to win a 2nd round playoff game first.  ;)

If Nederland nearly beat you buy scoring 31 points ...this is d same Nederland that let a very weak Dayton hang around.  Angleton is good but not great. Just like BH, Crosby, Dayton, Nederland, and Vidor.  Good, not great.
Keep talking man. Texas Football Magazine mentions Cody Young as probable QB.
A tackle or a coach isn't going to help New Carney. They're dead last in the district in talent and don't have the enrollment to make up for it. You could put Gary Joseph over there and still not get to .500. Until NC benefits from the growth in the area they'll be competing with Porter for last unless they realign to district 18.
If this is true, Barbers Hill shouldn't compete either.  Talent is important, but its not everything at the high school level.  Discipline, preparation, and execution can win you a lot of games.  Look at Katy.  They run their machine and win ...but not many D1's compared to other schools like North Shore, Manvel
BH has a heck of a lot more talent than New Caney. They have a four year starter at qb who's a UT commit in baseball, the best rb in the district behind Walter and Jeffery, and last year they had the best lb in the district with Garrett Dolan in my opinion. Katy doesn't have a bunch of D1 talent but what they do have are huge offensive linemen and big backs that rush for 2000 yards most years like Dean, Young and Taylor. People on this forum always talk about hard work like the other kids aren't working just as hard. The kids at Crosby were throwing up on themselves while they were running this week but you're not going to hear me talking about how hard they're working because I know the kids at Dayton, BH, and SC are working just as hard. Coaching and talent are the most important things at the high school level. BH much like Deer Park is going to dump all the funds they need to support their program and most times you get decent results with that method, that's why BH is better than most others on the sub-high school level. It may get you to the playoffs but most years you won't have the horses to be a threat.
Good points ...I might throw in that if kids are tossing their cookies during summer workouts, they're probably showing up out of shape.  SC's kids stay in training year round and I imagine many other schools do this as well.  I still believe that New Caney could put a better product on the field with their current players than what we've seen.  When all else fails, there's the Katy model ...RECRUIT!  One solid running back from Humble or Northshore area could help NC win some games.
Thats the thing: Katy DOESN'T recruit, their coaching staff gets the best out of their players.  ;) Execution, execution, EXECUTION!  ;)
You keep believing that AND in unicorns.
New Braunfels Unicorns have gotten past the 2nd round in the playoffs before, something SC can only dream about.  ;)
And Northshore beat MANVEL ...something PAM can only dream about.
PAM has gotten out of the 2nd round and gotten a Regional Title recently....something SC will never have but can dream about  ;)
How many years has PAM been competing ...you're jawing about a squad that has been in existence for a few years.  I mean really.  Manvel moved up and whooped PAM's 5A tail.  Not by a small margin either.  You guys just keep picking on Channelview for wins.
49-37 was the final score genius, know your facts before you post dumb arse things that YOU think is the truth.  ;)
Dumb arse? ...they rolled 49 on you FOOL.  You only look at one side of the score board.  By a team that moved UP (not down).
You do know Manvel is a top level program right? They played for State the year prior. Enrollment had nothing to do with why we lost, we lost to a better team. Were not like SC fans (specifically YOU who blames enrollment figures on why they lost a playoff game ;))
Yeah they won ...in 4A.  You think Guyer competes with Katy?  4A and 5A are different games (as you should know).  Manvel came up as a middle of the pack team and them BOOM ...smoked an established 5A program that send ten kids to college football per year (according to you).  In all seriousness, that's like SC moving up and smoking Northshore.  Would be a lot of shame to go around NS after that game.
SC cant get past the 2nd round of the playoffs in 4A so i highly doubt smoking NS would come into fruition.  ;) Manvel is a middle of the pack team now? Yeah, another idiotic statement by DelusionalDawgs. smh, what else can you come up with sir?  ;D

At almost 2200, SC is in the same range as La Porte, PAM, Manvel. One of the big differences between SC and those three is that La Porte, PAM and Manvel have all won three or more playoff games in a single season within the past two years, while SC has only won ONE playoff game in those two years. Past two year playoff records: La Porte 5-2 Manvel 7-2 PAM 4-2 SC 1-2
First MBG ...the only "boom" was Manvel dropping the BOOM on PAM last year. Second, you keep dismissing the impact of Humble's rating issues and kids that transferred to SC.  Lets look at how Humble's numbers look over the same period.  Their numbers are down ...and I'm quite curious to see how things level off this year. Third, SC had the "hot new school" effect in the area as well.  I know of kids that came from GREENSPOINT and surrounding areas to escape Aldine and Sheldon ISD's.  I don't know the numbers at the middle schools ...SC just graduated a large class as well.  This: [Hidden Content]; has SC at about 2020 and Humble at 1550.  Without transfers both school would be around 1800.  SC wouldn't be more than the 1900's for sure.  I know HUM398 would disagree ...but let just see how it plays out this year.  SC's enrollment could swell further as kids find ways to attend the only winner in Humble ISD ...and the middle school incoming class could be large as well. It's going to take a realignment and new homes to bring in more kids to Humble ISD.  On SC's side of the area, most of the existing communities have been nearly built-out.  PAM fans like MBG shouldn't wishing to see SC in their division ...they should be worrying about Northshore and Manvel.
SC fans like you shouldn't be worried about champagne and getting fitted for state champ rings, they should be worried about advancing past the 2nd round of the playoffs this year finally (with all this All-world talent that you supposedly have that remains to be seen past 2nd round) then worry about how many athletes in that football program that will transfer out of SC after the next re-alignment to enjoy playoff success for the remainder of their HS years eslewhere.  ;)

Why don't the bunch of you take this love fest to a hotel room.  The only chance 19-4A has of stopping this team is talking about 5A competition a year (or more from now).  MBG being the biggest mouth in this sad argument.  How bout you focus on the teams SC will see THIS YEAR?  Of course you can send your scare signals about what a school with 3500 kids will do to a school with 2,000.  Big deal.  Y'all are geniuses. He needs to gain muscle. Shane Larkin blew scouts away in the combine. He will probably go 14th to Utah.
I look for the Celtics to make a move (strange or huge) on draft night  ;)

 17. If he is being recruited by New Mexico at QB they will have 2-3 SR QBs and 1 JR  there once Reed gets there if he chooses UNM. Good chance to start as a Red-shirt Freshman or True Sophomore if he works hard enough.  8)

I must have read each at least a dozen times. Now, since new caney is the focus of this thread, let's get back to talking about that. Anyway, I think NC picking up a coach that can lead a winning program, they have some hope to make something happen in the near future. If they can get some guys to step up they can field a respectable team in any classification.
here here...
I'll say it again: If they can win when it counts they (the people) will come.
