1.Summer Creek 2.Crosby - Can't give the Cougars the top spot because of a Defensive Coordinator that can not make game time adjustments in big games. His defenses play either a 1st half or a 2nd half. ~~~ Manor 3. Dayton 4. Kingwood Park - Lewellan will be a 3 way threat. If coach doesn't freeze his own kicker with a timeout ~~ Crosby 5. Barbers Hill - Not convinced of defense - graduation loss may be too much 6.Humble 7.New Caney - Klingler & son will make a difference 8. C.E.King - Price plays for 14' 9. Porter - Loss of QB & no speed
+1!!!!!!!!!
Id like to see.......... WO-S/Lamarque PN-G/Dayton Silsbee/Jasper Vidor/Barbers Hill Central/Texas City Nederland/Summer Creek (I know this wouldn't happen because they would have to travel to Dallas to have a big enough venue to hold the SC fans) WB/Newton.......It would be intresting to see if Newton could take a 5A school down.
Kingwood Park was the youngest team in the district last year. I talked to a BH fan with in depth knowledge and they said this was the weakest group of seniors in the Gage era and they're still not sure if Denny is going to play. I saw a picture of O'neal with his shirt off during summer workouts while they were initiating the freshmen and he looked every bit of 250 but I hear he's playing both ways this year. Crosby has a kid named Shane Hudson that scored 20 something receiving tds last year as a freshman and has been looking like he'll be the third option. We should average around 450 ypg and have the most explosive offense in the district but as usual it's going to be all on the D. I think SC is going to score a bunch but they'll have a hard time stopping people just like we will. Saying that I have it like this . . . 1. Crosby/SC 2. SC/Crosby 3. Dayton 4. KP 5. BH 6. Humble 7. King 8. Porter 9. New Caney
KP impressed me last season........... 8)
1. Nederland (2 time undefeated champs. You have to go with them). 2. Central (The talent and speed is definitly there...and I believe that you can't get any worst than the coaching staff that was walking the sidelines for the last 2 years) 3. Ozen (Very good talent and they will actually be extremely good on defense unlike most years) 4. Vidor (Although they've lost Quirante, they have a winners mentality, and you can't take that away from them) 5. Livingston (they'll probably be one game out of the playoff hunt before it's said and done) 6. PN-G (they have some talent back, but won't get it done this year) 7. LC-M (They were medeocre with the fast RB from last year. Now that he's gone, I just don't know if they can compete) 8. Lumberton (Because RaiderGirl92 said that they'll be #1)
Disrespectful

When they lose their 1st game this year: they're either going to tank, struggle to get to the playoffs or gain the ol' M.O. IMO if they lose in pre-district it wont have any type of impact on them, if they lose late in district play it could help them as being a wake-up call before the playoffs, but if they lose early in district play it will be a dagger to their confidence and they will struggle to even make the playoffs.
The only team that will even come close to pushing them in district will be Crosby. Wins and losses in the playoffs is one thing. SC's ability to win in district is another. I think your back and forth argument with their fans have a lot to do with you wanting them to lose.
Exactly. And we Harley ever argue with him about his lil PAM team....he accused me of being SC QB mom, I'm gonna have to accuse him of being a coach that was let go off the SC coaching Staff ;D
I wish I was, money in my pocket. Livingston - darkhorse, underrated, solid team this year. 5. Ozen - talent, matters how they use Tony Brown. 6. PN-G - on the right track, might beat Central or Vidor if they sleep on them, just a year away. 7. LC-M - haven't heard anything from them, lower levels didn't have success either. 8. Lumberton - new coach hopefully wins a couple this year, might finish ahead of LC-M
1. Nederland 2. Ozen - smoked Central and it took a fake punt and an onside kick for Vidor to beat them with their heart and soul player. 3. Central 4. Vidor 5. Livingston 6. PN-G 7. LC-M 8. Lumberton
still equals a notch in the Loss column right? ::)
I didn't say it wasn't a loss. People keep picking Central and Vidor over Ozen which is crazy if you look at the teams. Ozen is just as talented if not more talented than Central. They have a head coach that has actually been a head coach before and his staff is more experienced. Vidor counted on one kid for pretty much every intangible thing a football team needs to be successful. I just don't see them being able to replace him.
Im interested in seeing how he handles that talent, alot of talent was walking the halls of North Crowley also.
