Welp, Some local 4A teams will be scrambling to find games

Lockhart appeal denied will remain in District 26-5A with Castroville Medina Valley, Kerrville Tivy, Boerne Champion, Alamo Heights, Sequin, Dripping Springs and Marble Falls.

Hays & Lehman tried to get out of the district with Westlake, Lake Travis, Vandegrift, Vista Ridge & Leander. UIL says "No". Appeal DENIED.

Eustace High School lost its appeal today during the UIL meeting. They will remain in District 9-3A, Region III in football

Llano appeal to UIL re: changing from District 19-4A to 28-4A (travel concerns) for basketball DENIED. Unanimous "no" from district schools.

Some people will want Silsbee to promote from within and some will want an outside hire. Whether its from the inside or the outside, I just want what is best for the kids, and hopefully whoever that coach may be, will be able to get the Tigers to a state championship in the not so distant future.

Silsbee has great facilities (minus turf) very good athletes & a well rounded athletic program. This should draw some very good candidates.
