Newton lost a ton of starters including their QB,running back and most of their Hugh line. We will be very young but we will be all right. Watch out in two years we should be real good. We have enough sense in newton to know that players are not the same every year. Through good and bad we will support our coach.

UIL is looking at using 2 footballs at the same time to exploit these skills and make the game very interesting. The two balls (footballs) would have to be hiked at the same time by an ambidextrous center. If they do not use two balls then I see no advantage in being ambidextrous. Yes but coach said he will be running back next year. He is the kid that was in the 6 th gr. and coach said he was good enough to play JV ball. In the 6th grade he played on a team that went to the championship game played in calif. and won and he was MVP player of the game. He is just as good on defense as on offense.

Newton loses almost everything. Teams go through this at times. Newton will reload with a good bunch of young kids and should still be on top of their district. Newton will have a 9th grade running that may be the best to ever play for Newton. So, if we lose a few games, the Newton supporters will still support our kids,unlike the few forked tongue wavers from WOS and Nederland.

Does anyone have direct tv with Bally sports. What is the cost. I have Dish and I do not like Dish. I went to the Stump Rest. at Rayburn and they had a big screen TV and Bally sports was on. Wish I had known that earlier.
