The way a coaching staff has to teach tackling has changed. With all the new rules for safety, etc. there is no more old school lead with the facemask, hit on the rise to speak of. It is now lead with the shoulders and so forth. Playing defense is hard now. Never know when you will get a penalty for targeting or leading with the top of the head. Offenses know this and it has made tackling in space much more difficult.

Nothing but class from Coach Babin. Respect his decision but respect him more as a man, father and husband. Good luck wherever you land Coach Babin.

The LCM job would have AD tied to it... Right now the WB job is only Athletic coordinator, not AD. Big difference. But if this is true, he may just be tired of dealing with the headaches and want to be an assistant or a coordinator... There have been some that do it.

I think Tarkington will go w 11 in order to make 11 an 8 team and 12 a 6 team... Would make sense as opposed to having 2 7 team districts where you have to have a bye in district play

Why don't you just be quiet and quit all this madness. You make yourself look like a fool. Anahuac has made great strides this year. The kids are evidently buying into the system and will reach another level in years to come. Just be happy that there is a group of coaches that cares more about the game and the development of the kids rather than their own self promotion on twitter

Down by 14 at the half and once again the Katy coaching staff makes the half time adjustments necessary to win the game. Probably some of the best in the business at doing so.
