The only part of the 1st round that is guaranteed is that the 1st place team in each district gets to decide on 1 game vs 3 game. Everything else is agreed on, flipped for, etc. In the lower classifications, the schools are pretty spread out, so its hard to go a "home and home." You usually see that in the 5 and 6a levels where the bi district rounds are closer together.

Because you have not won an outright district title in how long? You have shared the district title the last few years. This year you claim a share of the title only because Diboll had a loss to Shepherd, at least last year you beat EC, which beat Anahuac and then when you had a chance to win it outright, well everyone saw how that went. You go 1 maybe 2 rounds deep. Finally, you come on here beating your chest about "this is the year..."

I think they will both win and will be District Co-Champs Vidor will get the 1st seed in the playoffs due their head to head victory over LCM, but if they have the same record, they will be Co-champs.

Kirbyville has to beat Buna by 16 to gain the 4th spot... Their loss to Hardin makes a Kirbyville win over Buna a 3 way tie for the last spot

Why are we not talking about Buna letting Hardin put 38 points on them? Doesn't boad well for the remainder of the season.
