Is there a reason why it is not there?
Maybe because nobody has posted it. Do you know the score?
Think it was 13-0 Woodville
 2.
As of now the standings look like this: 1. Warren (6-1) 2. Woodville (5-2) 3. Kirbyville (4-3) Corrigan-Camden (3-4) Hemphill (2-5) Newton (1-6) Warren has a rematch with CC at Warren and also a rematch at Woodville that could end up being a district championship game. Woodvilles key game is most definite the rematch with Warren in two weeks. Kirbyville still has to travel to Hemphill and play Warren at Warren. Corrigan-Camden still has tough games against Warren, Woodville, an Hemphill. Hemphill is virtually eliminated. It would take a major break down by three teams to put Hemphill in. Newton is eliminated from playoff contention. Who will make it, in your opinions?
Kirbyville has warren at home, travel to Hemphill and then finish w newton at home.
 3. Seems to be happening a lot this year w the Beaumont chapter.  Not all of them, but the majority seem to be wearing their feelings on their sleeve.  Not sure why, but I know that the numbers are down among other things. Bad calls are gonna happen, its part of the game, but dont take everything so personal as an official.  Just be consistent and know the rules.

 7. Congrats Coach DuBois!  Give him a little time to put in the slot t and you will see results, look at how competitive OF has become within thie district in the last 4 years because of the slot t.  I see similarities in the HJ,OF and Buna kids.  A few that can blow your doors off w speed, but on the whole a lot of kids that are disciplined and will be happy to go "3 yards and a cloud of dust."  Now with half of the district running the slot t, preparation for games just got a little more interesting...For those teams that play all 3 of them in a row, by the 3rd game you should be real adapt to seeing it.  Again, good luck to Coach Dubois and his family.  Vidor lost a good one.

When a team uses a DH they have 10 starters which all can re enter the game once in the same spot in the batting lineup they were in originally. Also when a DH comes in to play a position if he has never been out of the game, killing the DH, this does not count as a re enter since he has never left the game.
He,he, he, he!!!!!! I remember someone doing this in a big game one time and the opposing coach had no clue it was legal!!!! Classic!
I bet the opposing coach still doesn't understand the rule  lol
Probably Not!!!

I direct you to the part of the requirements that entail a teaching certificate and AD's experience.  Whether it's HJ, Orangefield, Jasper, Buna, Deweyville, etc... it's all the same.  People think that just because they win in pee wee, little league or little dribblers, they should win at the highschool level.  There are numerous factors that play into highschool competition.  You think that any coach who has a history of losing records at a school all of a sudden changes his philosophy, they have a few years of winning and that coach is now a genius? Same thing, a coach that has a history of winning, has a few losing seasons, now he's not a good coach anymore?  NO!!!! A coach has a philosophy and he sticks with it, win or lose.  It's the kids that are in the program is what wins or loses.  A good coach takes good talent and makes it great, a good coach takes average talent and makes it competitive.  As long as a coach can say they are doing right by the kids, can sleep at night.

Nick Foshee. 85+ fb, 6,4" maybe 5", add the Bump, it looks the ball is coming from the center feild light pole, Smart Baseball player. Colby Schiralla, "Lights Out", he may never see the bump because his catching is so good. Nicks, not so little brother, Eric (Big Easy) Foshee, God given talent we all dream about, he is a freak. 88+ and im being conservative. And, yes And, Vidor has 5 others that can pitch as well. 9 Pitchers. Thats my count. I feel confident any of those 9 can win a game, I can't think of a season that Vidor had so much pitching. Could be the Year of the Pirates, cause you know Coach Green likes pitching.
GREEN - REX- GRAY..Vidors biggest weapons with the talent they have year end year out....Sounds like Vidor has a lil something this year..
then why can't they win a first round playoff series w all this talent they have year in and year out?  Coaching?
 15. Hopefully the kids will come together and play hard, if for no other reason than they love the game.
 16. If this is what he/school got sanctioned for, then it's total BS.  Yes, it's a rule, but almost every playoff team in the state goes 1 day a week, during the school day, to practice at the facility they will play, especially if it's an unfamiliar place.  If people are going to start blowing the whistle on this, then the UIL better block a set of rooms in Austin for coaches, AD's and Supts. to stay because their are a number of teams that are in violation.  All this sounds like is someone with an axe to grind!!!!! Keep your head up Coach Nelson and fight through this.

 18. Not sure if he will ever step foot on campus after HS. Draft in June of 2014, projected to be a 1st rounder, school doesn't start til the end of August.  Either way, I think this kid has a bright future ahead of him.  Getting paid to play a game or getting a free education to play a game.  Either way he wins.  Good Luck to what is a special talent.
 19. Gotta be an opening first geneous!!!! As far as we all know, Coach Washington is still there.  Wash is a good football coach and a great human being.  He will return the Jags to success soon.
 20. This is a good preseason synopsis of this district.  I have to agree with eagles on these predictions.  IMO, Woodville and Warren will share a district championship and will play each other in a 1 gamer at the end of the season for seeding purposes, too much returning for Warren and Woodville always has baseball players coming through the pipeline.  Hemphill will go 6-4 and gain the 3rd seed, they may have the best all around baseball player in the setx area.  Kirbyville is dropping from a tough 3a district a year ago.  They have 7 to 8 returning starters and while they are young, they gained valuable experience last year I see them going 5-5 in district.  Corrigan has traditionally been good and I'm not real sure about them other than what I have heard through others, but I think they will probably go 3-7.  Newton is always a tough game and they will be improved but I think this district is too much for them.
 21. So is Twine transferring/transferred or not? I know that he was hurt the majority of the year in football....Will probably go to state in track....and well, we all know about baseball....Probably a top 10 draft choice in June 2014....
