my statement was not pointed towards vidor, i know exactly what real vidor fans think. my son is a player and knows just how tough this seasons going to be. my post was for the people who keep putting words in our mouths.

im a pirate fan but i will tell you that if any team starts district play thinking theyve got a district title wrapped up then they are probably going to be dissapointed. this is a tough district and i dont think any one team is going to walk away with this thing. if vidor shows up unprepared then they will get beat. they have as good a chance this year as they ever had and its sad that alot of people cant understand that pirate fans are only excited about theyre teams chances. to me dave cambells picks dont mean anything but its definatly put a target on the pirates back...

if you havent watched the pirates play this year then you have no clue what your talking about. just wait your turn and we will see what happens...

now days with internet if you lose any game you get dogged all week, heck you even get dogged all week for winning against a lesser team

enterprise is terrible about reporting wrong information. they havent got a story about vidor right this year

all this talk of state champs isnt coming from vidor, its coming from yaw. get a life

not saying condone it. people should have a little more class and not start saying stuff like that. i thought about going to the other side to sit but i dont like it when visitors sit on our side and holler for theyre team either so i just stood on the visitors side.

i think anytime you have fans from both teams sitting together, it causes problems. sounded like they had a little cheering war going on. but with the minimal seating there it couldnt be helped. the visitor side was barely big enough for the band...

here we go talking about how bad vidor is. im sure theres no way that a team playing theyre first game can improve. i have to give credit to kelly, i was underestimating them as well. they stepped up and suprised alot of people. maybe kelly is a little better than we all gave them credit for. vidor definetly needs some work on defense and im sure they will get better. whats funny is its been outsiders saying vidors gonna win district. vidor fans, coaches, kids all know how tuff this district is, we take it one game at a time. we will see how it all turns out at the end of the season...
