  1. shows how tuff 20 4a is when the 4 teams that are staying home are all tied.
  2. would like to say i sure was happy to see Jacob Peevey back in his spot this week. go vidor!
  3. how about central having two of the toughest games this year? first game of district against vidor, double overtime winning by 1 point. then the last game of district going double overtime with the loss.
  4. if its another rainy friday night, there could be some interesting games...
  5. well i can tell you from a vidor fans point of view, png was definatly burning the clock running the ball in the fourth. there was too much time on the clock to just kneel it. if vidor wouldve stopped him then there wouldnt have been a td and the clock wouldve ran out. png did a great job on both sides of the ball and they were very well coached. good luck the rest of the year and post season. most well balanced team in 20 4A
  6. vidor has played on turf this year and they dont get tired or slow down in the second half. if anything they come out harder in the second half
  7. was going to comment on all this but after thinking about it i wont ;D
  8. how long do you think before you see t-shirts at the vidor games with (Three Headed Monstor) Pitman, Peevey, Tate.....
  9. was at the vidor, central game and it was the most exciting and nerve racking game ive ever seen. having said that i didnt think that there couldve been anything to add to that game. saturday i listened to yaws broadcast of the game and was totaly blown away with the excitement and drama that yaw added to this game. glad i couldnt hear yaw while i was at the game, dont think i couldve took it ;D
  10. just responding to some of the posts on here about all the reasons lumbertons gonna beat vidor. i will say this just like i said before the central game, the team that makes the least amount of mistakes should win this game.
  11. vidors players will be ready for lumberton, they are very well conditioned. there were no injuries other than some strains. nothing that would keep any of them from playing. if anything they will be even more hungry for a win. you can wish all you want to about them being down but if lumberton takes them lightly they will be sorry...
  12. so did anyone get turned away from the visitors side? what was the resolution to the problem
  13. according to the vidor qtrback, they didnt get in on the two point conversion. went and ate with a bunch of the vidor players after the game and that came straight from him, was about six inches short. so now that should stop the second guessing. what a game. you couldnt have scripted this any better than it turned out. each team stepped it up when they needed to to get to ot. couldve gone either way, jags won..... i see good things for both teams from here on out, good luck to both.
  14. this game went exactly like i thought it would. a slug fest. have to say both teams played their hearts out and central came out on top. they did what they had to do to win. i believe these two teams will end up first and second in district. would also like to say i think the refs did a good job letting the boys decide this one. the whole clock thing was not good but i dont think it decided the game. vidor can hold theyre heads up high, time to get ready for lumberton..
  15. the fire marshal has more to do with safety codes than just fire safety. they could be going by the age of the stands and be concerned about possible failure if overloaded. they also determine what an allowable number of people is for a business. but you dont normally see a fire marshall get involved in an outdoor event unless called upon. kinda makes you wonder... ive seen vidors homecoming with both sides overflowing and people lining the fences several deep. no fire marshall shutting them down.
  16. dont wear anything that says your from another school and pay to sit on the home side. dont think they will look at id.s to see where your from...
