All the more reason I don't like PG. I know they are excited because it's their first ever trip to the finals. But jeez......there opponent has a freaking 40 game winning streak. At least have some respect. Few do........most don't.

This a great game. As was the Mart Refurio game last night. 

Their athletes. Sometimes it's not about the scheme. It's about the athletes. PG has them all over the field on both sides of the ball. They are well conditioned and they will not wind. We ran them all over the field for 4 quarters and they will not stop coming. 
What you are going to see is a mirror. Other than the offensive schemes these 2 teams look alot like each other. Big, strong, fast and athletic. This game is going to be EPIC and I for one can't wait to watch it. But win lose or draw you will not run PG in the ground. 
Good luck to both. I hope it's all it's built up to be.......and I think it will be. 

Well that video is no good. It showed Hendo scoring a TD and last time I checked they had a goose egg. 

Survive and advance guys survive and advance. But I do believe for the Mustangs to advance this week........they are going to have to find some more offense. Not a lot more......but some. I think you going to need at least 24. 

I saw this game in person, and Union Hill has some legit talent. They got two go-daddies and about 5-7 guys that enjoy being nasty.  Now this was my first ever 6-man game so my knowledge is limited, but Union Hill passed the eye test and the played fast test
 

I wished I would've known you were there.  We could've met up.  How about those two goal line stands?  It looked like Coolidge was going to drive it down UH's throat, and did to the 1-yard line to open the game.  Four tries couldn't get it in, and it went downhill for Coolidge from there.  They had nobody that could stop Gabe Nelson (# 9), nor could they stop Colt Mallory (# 7).  I hope Colt, who got hurt on the TD run, gets well quick because he's a heck of a player.  The UH defense is legit, and will definitely bring the wood.

I know exactly what you are saying. We are 9-2, which for 98% of the teams in this state would be incredible. In Gilmer that's not good enough. Probably not in WOS either...........but as I have gotten older and tried to get wiser............I have tried very hard to enjoy it for what it is, as long as it lasts. Winning Championships is freaking hard, and I applaud everyone who does it. Those who do it multiple years in a row are truly special. Be thankful that your kids compete year in and year out like ours do. It's a pride thing in the community and I understand that. But for the fans the most important thing is to "enjoy the ride" as far as it takes you. Some years it takes you to the ocean, you get to feel the sand between your toes and the sun shines bright. Sometimes you run in the ditch. Every group is different......... enjoy them for what they are. I'm thru preaching now.

Just an outsider reading the thread.........but there seems to be a lot of discontent among some of the WOS faithful. I actually find that very interesting. The reason I say that is what I saw in my hometown was the same thing. The more we won........the more it was no longer good enough. I was always on that win and advance thought. Many in Gilmer think if we ain't winning by 60 the sky is falling. Just my thoughts for what they are worth.......and that's usually not much.

Just saw the highlights on FSW. This game must have been CRAZY!!!!

I hate to see any young men or women do stupid things and get into trouble. Football players or not.
