1. Waxahachie has been living dangerously the last few weeks...
2. Can someone list the current NFL players from the Golden Triangle area?
3.

I have a suggestion for the Moderators to make this board more user friendly If someone post something that is innappropriate, delete it and send them a private message explaining why.  I have watched and even been involved with a number of public forum exhanges this year that have no place in open forum.  I experienced it when I questioned how the SETXSPORTS ranking votes were geographically obtained, PNG fan got it when he developed an open fan ranking system using WOSGRAD's format, and RANGER83 is getting it now in the GCM vs. KP thread.  This adds no value to this site and takes away from the fun and interaction that makes it so successful. My two pennies, a moderator calling a user's mouth a "pie hole" and threatning him in open forum is a bit out of line.
bh-2, usually how you have suggested it is how I do it.  However, more and more, instead of showing contrition for failure to follow board rule, my pms were met with indignence and complaints about "selective moderation."  In fact, you have been one of the very few exceptions to the rule.   But let's take the different situations that you put up.  First, you "getting it" when you questioned how the SETXSPORTS rankings votes were obtained.  As I recall there was no exchange there....you had suggested that the staff give information about their geographic info and bias' and I obliged.  That was met with basically "I was only kiddin'." Second, I don't recall PNG1992 getting heat from moderators about his fan poll.  I recall that the heat came from the same place that heat about the staff poll....other posters. And finally the situation yesterday.  Ranger83 made a remark in a thread which targeted a school's graduates as "thugs."  Now, my style of moderation is that if I can edit out a portion of a thread that violates board rules and still preserve the post, I will do that.  I don't like deleting posts...someone put some time and at least some thought into it.  That is what I did with Ranger 83's post...I did not change any words, just deleted the offending portion.  Ranger83, not I, wished to make this public by demanding to know why the thread had been edited.  After I told him why, he DEMANDED that I never edit his posts but delete them outright...such a post would have bought many folks a vacation, I chose to warn him in public. The moral of the story, if you don't want the dirty laundry aired in public, then don't put it in public.
That is not true.  The moderators are the ones that was mocking the fan rankings.  If my memory serves me correctly AggiesAreWe, Adminbaberuth, Bmtsouja, and your all might KFDMCOOP all had fun mocking the rankings and being disrespectful.  Once again you use lies to justify your actions.
Wow...You have 40 total post on this board and you act like you have seen it all.  Spend a little more time posting quality material and less time complaining and name dropping!
4. He should definitely get the nod....There is no reason that Nebraska should ever lose to Iowa State.  Lee is a good QB, but only scoring 7 points last week in pitiful....
5. Can you imagine how loud it would get if everyone from PNG had a can or propane tank filled with ball bearings?
6.
I believe they were used freon cylinders w/steel ball bearings inside.Non-Flammable residue inside plus thinner metal. But boy they were loud in the Stephenville/LaMarque gm.in the Dome.Bay City has them but not like the yellow jackets.
We find anything that's loud to put ball bearings in (within reason because of safety).  We aren't a big town, but we do travel well.....and we are loud!
7.
The game in 99 may have been a double header, but I got pictures that proove that most of that 39K was purple. Pictures show 1/2 of the dome purple from top (yes they opened the upper deck) to bottom. I will say that if Nederland made the big dance they would also be in this mix, because just about everyone I know from PNG including myself would be there.
I agree about the 99 game....It really was incredible to see all of that purple.  Great tradition and pride from the community!
8. Birdville is ranked way too high....They only have one team in their district that's legit (Aledo).  They have had one of the easiest schedules in the state!
9. Stephenville's has lost 2 games this year, but they were against #2 Denton Guyer (Week 2) and #9 Aledo (Week 1).  We've gotten better each week, which is all you can ask from such a young team. By the way.....Denton Guyer is loaded!
10.
Will go PNG go as small or big? I can tell you that Denison and Lake Dallas can flat out play.
Lake Dallas is one-dimensional, stop the QB and you will win....Obviously that's easier said than done because he's one of the best in the state.  I believe that he's going to Mizzou.  Here is his stats from last year and his current stats as well.  He's a beast! 11. I'm kinda with Championeagles on this....Of course I want to win every game and be declared district champion, but one game doesn't define your season.  In 1998 we lost to our bitter rival Brownwood for the district championship....We learned from that game and went on to win state.  Did the loss to Brownwood leave a bitter taste in our mouth?  You bet it did, but standing on the 50 yard line at Texas Stadium hoisting the championship trophy took that away.  District championships are a great thing and gives people bragging rights for a year...but a state championship, whether or not you win district, will shut everyone up!  A ring on the finger is better than a patch on a jacket....You gotta be in it to win it (One of Briles famous sayings at Stephenville).  Newton and Kirbyville are both great teams that should make deep playoff runs....Win or lose, learn from your mistakes and take each game personally.  I wouldn't be surprised if both of you made it to at least the semi-finals...after that anything can happen.  Good luck!
12.
I'm surprised by Stephenville's numbers. There population has grown to almost 17,000 up from around 15,000 in the 2000's and around 13,000 in 1990's and they have played in 4A for along time. Seems like they should have more kids in their school.
I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe that Tarleton State's numbers are figured into the population
13. Stephenville turned in 1033....going to be a close call since you never know what the UIL cut off will be.
14. Who has the best defense that you have played or seen this year...other than your own team.
15.
Well wish us luck this week, its homecoming, and ACU is No. 2.
Do you play at Tarleton?  I'll be at the game....
16. That's because they've been running into Everman and or Aledo. Both of those schools are just above the 1000 adm mark also. Not so much S'Ville is bad, other teams in Reg 1 have came up...... You have to excuse some of these posters Stevie. Some can't see past the Trinity...... Everman and Aledo have great teams every year...Always a battle when we play them. SFA85: I agree....I know that a lot of people up this way are taking notice of the football being played in SE Texas right now.
17. It was a great win.... I tell you what....There are a lot of great teams in SE Texas this year. I expect a lot of noise to be made during the playoffs this year....
18. Stephenville is playing really well right now and looks to be getting stronger every week...The great thing is that they return 8 guys on each side of the ball next year! They should go 3 or 4 rounds deep this year and push for the title the next two years...regardless of classification!
19. That's because they've been running into Everman and or Aledo. Both of those schools are just above the 1000 adm mark also. Not so much S'Ville is bad, other teams in Reg 1 have came up...... Everman and Aledo have great teams every year...Always a battle when we play them.
20. Please explain...Not sure what you meant by an "area contender".......
