Henderson is a pretty good team but not nearly on the level of last year. Overall our district is down a little other than Carthage and they are (like you said) a different animal. It is going to take a really special team to keep them from running the table.

Going into district play what team(s) from 10-4A have the most potential to "turn it on" over the next few weeks? Predicted order of finish?

DCTF has Henderson ranked #9 in 4A D-1 but I think that is a little high. I see the Lions going 7-3.

Small towns can turn into a soap opera over things like this. Few years ago Henderson ran off a coach that was 95-45 with four ten win seasons. Too many folks believe they are a big fish when they are really just in a small pond.

Not sure I want to see him at CH...this district is tough enough already. JK...either of those would be good jobs if he does leave Jasper

I hear ya. I had one of those sour apples sitting a couple rows behind me the night Henderson lost the third round rematch with Carthage. Every community has them.

Carthage has trailed in the 4th qtr in 3 of their 4 playoff games...and won all three by a grand total of 7 pts. My hats off to them.

I did not see this one coming. I thought the UIL could go ahead and engrave "Newton" on the sc trophy. Guess thats why you play the game.

Im taking Glimmer...but I have mixed feelings about this one. On one hand I always support bEast Texas teams. On the other hand everybody likes to see the bully get punched in the mouth.

Winner of this one gets winner of Carthage/Henderson in the regional finals. Im taking Stafford in a close one.

I dont see anyone derailing Newton.
