We are comparing apples to oranges. Both teams are VERY good, this is going to be a great matchup. EC has bad loss to Canton, other than that both teams have managed their schedule as well as could have been expected. Each team has a very good chance to both be holding that trophy with gold medals around their next in about 3 weeks.

You completely missed the point of my post. I’m saying Lipan is a very good team, but no they are not the team that beat Argyle two years ago.

Lipan is still a very talented team, but not the Lipan of the last two years. Still a very good team and tough out for any team.

What style does Shelbyville play? What do they run defensively? Just curious to see what this game will be from a matchup stand point. It’s no secret what EC runs.

Yeah unfortunately injuries caught up with Newton. This wouldn’t be a first round matchup if so. EC should just breeze through this one.

I thought the crew was doing a good job. Yes, they have let a few plays go both ways, but when you’re getting completely ran out of the gym I guess you have to cling to anything you can.

When the season began, I laid it all out for you guys on another thread.  Hardin would finish 4th - due to Warren losing at Kirbyville.  Even if that don't happen, Hardin will win the rubber match a neutral location.   I could be wrong.  The interesting thing is, Warren has 3/4 kids who are far more athletic than Hardin and yet, they still split with Hardin.
