I just love this!  I knew it was coming!! You did not play a 6A school you played a 5A school!  If you can use that then hold on to your hat.  Last year's numbers which would reflect the current standings are as follows:
Crosby 1509 -5a
Lumberton 1109- 5a
Ozen 1169- 5a
Goosecreek 1849 -5a
Richmond Foster 1970 -5a
PNG 1399- 5a
Nederland 1625-5a
WOS 594 - 4a
So my point is.... saying that they stepped on the field with a 6a team is just an excuse we are all waiting for!  Just because the numbers go up in the school does not mean they are a much better football team.  WOS beat PNG and they have 805 more students, Goosecreek has 740 more students then Lumberton and Lumberton beat them.  The size of the school has NOTHING to do with the fact you lost.  Just take your "L" and shut up.  The few Crosby fans that want put down SETX football every chance they get need to grow up and learn how to be humble.  Saying 4A doesn't have that variation in their entire class and still have two divisions true but so do you in playoffs.  So once again your point is invalid.

From what I have seen and been told I'm thinking Wharton will best compare to Silsbee.  I'm predicting a game close much like Silsbee.  
A close first half then the second half being all about the Mustangs.  

Bad things happen to good people and good people can make some terrible mistakes.  Two good people...a mom and a six year old little girl were killed by a man that an instant before striking, killing and leaving the scene, was conciderered by many to be a great guy...a good man that made a terrible error in judgement. Two lives have been cut short unnecessarily: a mother who will never feel her child in an earthly manner and a little girl who will never be able to one day, possibly, see her own little girl; another life horribly damaged and may never recover emotionally or spiritually and many many other lives forever changed. I have seen first hand, as a father, the guilt a person feels when someone has died by their hands or actions...it is intense and sad and in this case it was not this persons fault. I can't imagine the hell this man is living through at this time...if it was me I would want to die! I bet this man would give his own life at this point if he could change his actions...JMO...I am not taking up for him because a mom and a sweet little baby are gone from this world to be with our Lord but no amount of hate or blame can or will bring them back. I am so so sorry to all the families involved and you have my prayers that God brings not just peace but also strength. God bless!

Same set up as last year and they didn't miss a beat.  Just because their first round isn't a challenging team doesn't mean they won't show up playing like it is.

Curelover32  since you are a nursing administrator if you do anything and everything for your patients.  If you go above and beyond, provide them with whatever they need to be compliant with their healthcare.  Are you still at fault if they don't do exactly what they are suppose to or what they were told to do?  You act like 15,16,17 and 18 year old kids are like robots and they will do whatever they are told.  No one is 100% to blame.  Get over yourself and your volunteer coaching job!!!

That is what I meant by my post.  The comments are coming for either jealous teams that fell out early or teams that fell short to the Mustangs.   Leopardfan, didn’t he say he would have the back of the winner of the La Grange and WOS game?  He was the first one to make a comment about Gilmer and he picked Sinton by 7.   ?Sore loser?  We are well aware of the challenge ahead with Gilmer but the WOS Mustangs are going to GO MEET THEM!!!
