GCM has never won a playoff football game. Should have beaten Central in 2009, but had some big plays called back and fumbled an option pitch inside the 20 (my son was the one who made the option pitch). Being the 4 seed is a tough road- for any team.
That being said, they have enough talent to "compete" for a playoff spot. Probably not win the district, but they should compete.
Of course, one high school would have helped considerably. There is enough football talent in Baytown to win some games. Don't get me wrong, it would not be a North Shore or Allen type of program, but it would give us a chance.
FWIW: Goose Creek Roughnecks, Black and Silver, Silver Oilers' derrick on a black helmet. They should have just asked me.

You seem to have a pretty good grip on what's going on within this entire district and seem to have all of the answers.  Sounds like you need to go to the athletic director with all of your concerns and remedies and convince him to hire you to fix the Baytown issue.  You've got my vote!

Sounds similar to what they did at Beaumont United.  Brought in a former coach but used staff that had only won 3 games in 2 years from a particular school to hold the authoritive positions on the sideline while the guys that had at least won 10 in that time frame were put in the back... 

There comes a time and point where, if you’re giving up 50+ points a game and getting beat every week, and ur avg margin of defeat for the last 3 years, is 36.8pts, it’s not the other team not being classy, it’s the product that’s put on the field that needs to be questioned. If you don’t like them scoring... do something about it and stop them. Those same kids playing basketball and baseball don’t get beat like that, and they fight their tails off to the end, but attitude reflects leadership, and it’s time to cut the head off the snake and go in an entirely new direction.

Sat out due to injury is what the paper said. Idk.  

Hadn’t seen him, haven’t had time look anywhere though, NS scores everytime they snap the ball, had long td called back for holding so they did it again the next play. They could score 127pts tongiht it they wanted to, no resistance

Granted, Rayburn isn’t great, but they way GCM played tonight, is a huge step forward for the program. That’s the best game I’ve seen them play in 3 years, they scored more points tonight than they scored all of last year. Good job boys, having new coordinators seems to have helped

Varsity athletics will only be housed at the 11th and 12th grade campus, the other 2 campuses are just the undersquads for the 11&12 th campus. The reason for multiple campuses in said model, is strictly to make use of existing infrastructure and to provide a more conducive environment for  tHe underclassmen. So GCM-RG74-WR8 was absolutely correct in his statemenT, and understanding of the one high school model which is being kicked around.
