T'was a joke.... think about it...

... I got to see my first SETX high school soccer game of the year.. (besides a couple Kelly games over X-mas break)... went to go cheer on my alumni at the Brook to a very convincing 2-0 victory over district opponent Bay Town Lee... Dustin Montabano scored a goal.. (maybe an own goal officially, but he pretty much would have scored regardless... right on the line in a bunch of mess and taped it in off a Lee player... anyways.. to each his own interpritation... its a goal none-the-less)... and then WB capitalized again on a fast break oppertunity when Jacob Pallone was taken down in the box...  Travis Linthicum added the PK to the score board... good game... good result... good job boys...

I dont know if a young Nederland team can nock of Lumberton... but I do know that the score wont be 6-3... that I do know...

Your exactly right... the media in SETX sucks when it comes to soccer....

I hear that Fransisco Rios has been playing very well defensively this year.... He used to be an attacking player... a good one at that too... a very solid player to be able to be such a good player at both...

I wasnt talking to you JCB.. I understood what you said... but Sharkfutbol... you said specificaly that "WB has a good team that just needs some coaching"... and I think your wrong... this years WB team has virtually no leaders... its not like its been in the past... those guys are selfish and dont care... I know them... most of them are my good friends... its just the god honest truth that most (not all) are to concerened with what they are going to do after the game... then during it... and the ones that dont care the most.. just so happen to be the best players on the field...

WB problem isnt the coaching... its the fact that this is the weekest team at WB in a long long long time.. and they are playing in a tough 5A district... I know those players.. Ive played with them.. for a long time.. I know the coach too... I played for him for 4 years... hes not the problem... Coach Smith was the TASCO 5A coach of the years ago... WB soccer program was literally nothing when he got there... Coach Smith deserves the credit for making WB soccer what it was and could still be with some kids that have some heart... not kids that dont care about soccer... and thats the truth... only a select few on that team actually care with all their heart and passion about WB soccer.... its not Coach Smith... do some research...

Win a 5A state championship??? I dont know about that... but you could certainly compete with the top 5A teams...

B/C some people have no class...

You cant just do the 4a players... thats not fair... and its dumb... b/c there a players at WB, Kelly and PA that are better than the above mentioned....

Williams and Michaels are going to be the best two runners in the area next year...

Aggreed with both Jlamar and JCB... Its not ALL about being on the Varsity squad.... its about loving the game.... thats it... if you love the game enough.. then that will inspire you to get to the next level... soccer is the beautiful game... no matter "where" or "who" you play with... live it... love it... breath it... but most importantly... respect it and HAVE FUN.... jeeezzzz....

I dont know about now... but the best PK stopper I ever saw in action was NENE from PA.... Jlamar can help me out on this one.... NENE stopped more PK's than anyone Ive ever seen... we had 4 against them in two years... and he stopped all of them.... very athletic goalkeeper...

We have had this debate on several different occasions already... but if you must insist... I would say Stokie from Kelly... The kid from LCM .. before he got hurt... and the kid from Vidor... those two names escape me at the moment.. please forgive me... I am having a brain fart...

you can add Kirby and Corona from Kelly... and Linthicum from WB...

West Brook so far.... at the beggining of the season you wouldv'e thought they would be a shoe in for one of those 4 playoff spots... but now... once again... they are going to have to fight hard....

Kelly lost 2-1 against a very good Fort Worth Nolan team... that is all I know... Im sure the guys from Kelly will let us know some detail.... Congrats to Kelly and Joe on an outstanding season.... one to still be proud of !!!!!!!!!

HAHA!!!... I dont know about best in the world... but Ive seen Ben Hanks play a couple of times and I think he is a solid and pretty good player... his strength seems to me to be running at players and going forward with the ball at his feet....

Take away Tony defensively.. who do you have???... Sibley?? oh god... I love the kid.. but he doesnt know the difference b/t soccer and kickball... I aggree that T-ray and Palone, and Ryan and Austin and even Fransisco are good players... but take away Chris's creativity going forward and this is what you have... a WB team that cant finish... b/c in all reality... they just aren't that good... and they def. dont have the heart that WB has had in the past.... This is the weakest WB team in a long time... I dont care what you say... its the facts... look past the fact that you worked with them...
