we have a friendly match with this squad scheduled Oct. 20th at IMG training complex in Orlando,FL..... should be quite the experience playing against some future national team representatives....

WB lost alot of strong players such as Linthicum, Mantabano, Rios, Ray, Brady..... those guys will be hard to replace... but Jacob Pallone returns along with Dean Laurer and Jacob Fairchild who are all three year varsity members and play at a top club level... hopefully The Brook will be able to return to that elite soccer powerhouse it was just a few short years ago...

we need to notch a victory at Azteca soon.... and i hope it will be this fixture...

Ive had to live in this sick reality b4 but in the same shoes that your son wore... its heart-breaking to have people point out the source of your individual success to be that of your fathers if he is the coach... I had to put up with it through high school... its even worse when the type of people who are doing this are fathers of sons that play the same position as you... and they say that your abilities are overshadowed by the fact that your father is the coach... put yourself in that perspective... and ironically I didnt even EARN my spot on varsity until I was in the 11th grade from my coach, WOOPS!!!... i mean DAD..... and you put up with it... and you listen to all the hoop-la that gets stired up.. and you pretend to ignore it or act like it doesnt bother you...  thats what these kids have to do when other kids parents start tooting the coaches horn... and they CAN build off this and use it as fuel to their fire... but to what avail?... their success will always be questioned.. well the validity of it anyways... even if they EARN a college scholarship to play at the next level... but then the scrutiny still comes.... to me at least... but oh well.. what hasnt killed me yet has only made me stronger right?... just think about what your doing b4 you do it... b/c these kids are at an extremely impressionable stage in their life... and you wouldnt want them to grow up and be just as ignorant and selfish as you are.... would you?

Ive heard of a few other alegations directed at Central and a few UIL violations.... it seems to me that an investigation would be conducted if these alegations were even remotley conceived to be true..... right?

my favorite player of all time was Zenedine Zidane aka "ZIZU"... i always loved the way he played... I think that todays football is lacking the creativity that Zidane possessed.. the ability to make players around him better and creating space and always finding the perfect ball to send.. not to mention he could put the ball in the back of net quite capabley too... whos yours and why?

shouldve gone into extra time... terrible call by the ref. he should have just admited he was wrong after consulting with his linesmen... DUH... US played awfull at times in the game... Keller didnt look like the class of Goalkeeper he really is... but thats always been his achiles tendon... great shot stopper.. but not exactly a choice 11th option to play the ball to feet to....  its obviously Timy Howards era now.... it has to be... He is a one time EPL Goal Keeper of the Year... (after only his first season too)... and he proved he can be big for the US too... as far as strikers go... I thought that Brian Ching played great game in the Final... created chances with his signature turns... one a penalty... one a shot of the post... ive always thought he was a better option for a target man up top... he does it in the MLS... given the playing time... I think he can do it for the USA.... JMO... and Dempsey just isnt the same player anymore since he has developed this whole new even bigger cocky persona than what he already had... come one Duece.... go back to the humble kid from Texas that took the United Soccer world by storm a couple years ago...

that goal was NASTY... but truthfully... we were outplayed for the majority of the game... we just made more of our chances... and still blew some of those... but so did they... Tim Howard = WOW..AMAZING... that stuff he in that one on one 10 yards out was world class... once again, we can now say that the future looks bright for USA soccer... but.. we have said that b4.... many times b4....

I'm happy with the win. 

The defense looked solid and cohesive for the most part.  Franke HeyDude is a work-horse.  He couldn't cross to save his life today, but his effort was awesome.  Bornstein is growing on me now, and Gooch played within himself very well.  That yellow he got was bollocks.  I wish Bocanegra would stop kicking the ball into the stands every time he has pressure, though.

I thought the midfield overall looked the best.  Lots of combination passing, team defense, took on defenders, and made the crunching tackles when necessary.  Except for Ralston, he's just a big friggin spazzzz out there.  There are many better options on the bench and I have no idea how he keeps getting into these games.  Donovan and Beasley out wide give us such legitimate threats on the flanks!  Pablo was strong and Bradley is gonna keep getting better along with Clark and Feiieieelhaieber (or however you spell his name).

I thought the forwards were the least impressive.  Sure, tons of opportunities, but neither goal came from the run of play.  Twellman was useless today.  He had "warning track power" with many near-misses, but I was yelling for him to leave in the first half.  Dempsey SHOULD have fininshed that sitter that LandyCakes gave but instead he had to do a flashy pull-back because, after all, he is Deuce.  Just put the ball in the goal, Deuce.  You'll get to do your silly dance if you do!

haha exactly.... they would be able to regulate it to an extent... they would just tax the crap out of it untill its too expensive for the average person to indulge in...    Well I will not disagree with JCB again.  I think SEsoccerplayer seems to have done  his homework.

     Central can prove one year wasnt a fluke.

     Nederland has young team coming back.

     LcM has a load of players playing club together coming back.

     Vidor will hustle and has a few young guns coming back.

     Silsbee riding wave of best season ever.

that wasnt Silsbees best season ever....  they have been to the playoffs b4....
